We ever gonna get more options for melees, grenades, and supers for the darkness subclasses.
Kinda weird that the classes you have to literally buy have the least options.
But yay, new light supers and fragments in the final shape.
How does this game cost more and more every year when they give less and less.
-No new enemy race since Forsaken.
-Strikes replaced with battlegrounds, which are just patrol zones with champions.
-Patrol zones have been tiny and barren. (Final shape supposed to be different)
-Drip fed story content where you play the same mission week after week.
-Almost zero new crucible assets, and literally zero gambit assets.
-We pay for them to reskin areas and weapons with new perks.
Anyways, sunk cost fallacy keeps me going. Wish they’d put more effort into this stuff like they used to before Shadow keep.
Marathon better be good with how they’ve gutted support for Destiny.

3 RisposteStasis is getting a rework/tuning next season. And the addition of a new light super to 3 subclasses in the final shape would indicate there are going to be new supers for the rest of the light ones as well. By this logic it would make sense that the darkness subclasses (including whatever the 3rd darkness one is) will get a second super sometime in the next 8 seasons. New abilities of other kinds could very well be part of these additions.

3 RisposteI agree with everything you say, except that I do have to mention that they did technically add a new enemy race: tormentors. I actually think they did a pretty good job on them, and the added difficulty of needing to shoot their shoulders makes it seem like an actually challenging enemy. To be fair, you can just freeze/suspend them, but they are challenging foe if you don’t play stasis or strand. And with the way bungie has handled destiny, I don’t see myself ever playing another bungie game, especially not Marathon which sidetracked Destiny’s attention from the devs.

Way too many better pvp games to go through the slightest notion of what D2 brought.
