You got to remove Solo Dungeon to reach Rank 11.
It's impossible to solo the dungeon with unstable servers like this. It's not fair that a lot of players can't reach rank 11 because of your servers.
Please, remove it.

2 RisposteI did level 11 last season but not sure I will repeat. Respect to those who solo dungeons on the regular. The earlier ones are easier and more fun to solo. I got to the final boss in GotD, dig three damage phases, got mothed and said screw this 😂

I’m stuck at 5 this season because I don’t want to buy the pass and can’t rank up the seasonal vendor, even though I can get the one for owning like 80 different exotic weapons for the high tiers. The system is just so flawed to a point where I consider if I could have done better

1 RispondiThey should not make getting to rank 11 easier. OP, from your stats you have not played too many dungeons nor have you done any of them solo/flawless/solo-flawless. You're using the server issues as a scapegoated because you would not have reached rank 11 with or without them. What they should do is fix the servers. Or make the Solo dungeon triumph be check point based instead of requiring it to be done in one sitting. A full solo clear is a full solo clear. But don't ask them to lower the bar. Rank 11 is all about bragging rights, you get nothing in-game or out-game from reaching it.

Glad I checked the forums and Twitter first. This is beyond a joke, you have to change the wording in the triumph, the seal and rank 11 so we are able to complete a solo run (just a solo run, not flawless) from checkpoints, due to the pathetic state of your servers. Btw if you gave a flying 🍑🍆 about your playerbase’s mental health in the first place, like you claim to do, this is how it should have been for just a solo run from the very start. Not flawless though. There is no time limit in getting that done, so it shouldn’t be changed. Maybe I can attempt that next season or the season after when you finally get your server issues sorted, or was the TWAB just more BS to try to put out the fires? There is a time limit for rank 11. It should be changed for that without delay. But it won’t. Because, Bungie, you’re absolute trash as a company. Your company’s hubris and those tone-deaf morons in charge will be the cause of your demise as an independent company. Sony will gut you, just like they did to Psygnosis.

1 RispondiMaking each encounter checkpoint able for the solo triumph (but not the flawless) would be a reasonable compromise. There is no loadout lock for solo dungeons and this would let people with time constraints work through each encounter solo and not get compromised by server issues either. (Although a flawless would still get wrecked)

6 RisposteDisagree. The upper ranks should be hard to achieve. If everyone can easily reach max guardian ranks then the ranks are just as meaningless as commendations. Taking away lengthy endgame achievements isn't the answer to Bungie's crumbling game infrastructure. Bungie needs to invest some time, resources, and dev talent into this game. Not edit content from the game. As a side point: I'd love for there to be ranks higher than 11 that require flawless dungeon clears & upper end PvP achievements to acquire. Besides, lets be honest - The majority of people using this excuse are just using it because it's the easy way out. They all had an excuse they couldn't do solo dungeon clears prior to the servers & general game infrastructure was failing. They had excuses for Spire, Duality, Grasp, etc, etc. Many people have got the solo dungeon clear this season. And they all did it under the same failing server/game infrastructure. These people just wanted it more than those looking for an excuse. The reason they "couldn't" get the clear is always someone else's fault. Never their own. Not getting a clear this season due to servers is no different than those that didn't get Duality cleared due to the bell's bug. Some people used it as an excuse, & some players loaded it back up after a fail & got the clear. At the end of the day, it's all about how bad you want that clear.

2 RisposteLevel 11 should only need a master raid, master dungeon, or solo dungeon as that final requirement. Requiring all 3 only fits a very niche group of people. While it could be argued that only that specific niche of people should be worthy of being 11, there isn't any sort of skill difference between the 3, just how much torture you want to put up with to get there. The entire guardian rank system is flawed. It will permanently go down as one of the most hated systems bungie has ever implemented.

i'm a 10. I got there easy last season, easily repeated this season. The only thing I didn't do last was the solo dungeon.. Not because I don't think I can but, because I didn'twant to invest the time. This season.. I would question my ability to solo the dungeon and again.. not really sure I would want to put the time in. Server issues or not, I think it is probably the one thing that is causing many to remain at 10. That is exactly what it should be doing and while I argue with myself over attempting or not, the waste of time ofr a number I will have to redo again every season.. Its a valid gate keeping stumper and should not be made easier.. I have heard solo the dungeon, but, not have it flawless.. I say, naw.. keep it as a flawless run without leaving. You earn that 11 if you obtain it. congrats to those who got it, keep at it if you failed and want it and for those like me, happy with a 10.. congrats to you too. Infact congrats to all those who are pushing themselves at all be it a solo flawless lost sector, master raid, solo flawless dungeon etc.

Rank 11 is to show you have mastery over content. Soloing a dungeon is easy, it's not difficult. I think they should add soloing a GM to it as well

No This challenge is a normal requierement for a rank that is just there to show how dedicated you are. They have to fix their game, thats all. If we start adapting the game balance/design to bugs...its over

Totally agree and I have commented on this issue before. I have beef with the fact that only solo dungeon counts towards getting to rank 11. I do not really play much dungeons, however I would make the effort to flawless a raid to get to rank 11. And I would think that that is also a good enough achievement for rank 11. So at 10 I will stay because there is no way in hell that I will be spending my time soloing any dungeon ever. And yes the servers....can't imagine being kicked out after spending all the time and effort trying to get it done.

3 RisposteThey just need to make it so it's a check in the box of solo each section, doesn't matter if you leave or not. The servers are poo and I wasn't a fan of sitting in that dungeon for 2 hours when I solo'd it. Would've been nice to be able to take a break.
