I went in solo since my clan was not on and had an absolute blast. This mission had it all and yet did not overstay it’s welcome in any one spot. Even though there were re-used assets, if you are gonna re-use stuff, this is the way to do it. Well done and GG.

3 RisposteModificato da Hawpy: 12/22/2022 2:01:07 AMBungie - makes a great Exotic mission that's lengthy, has the same difficulty option as the universally-praised Legendary Campaign and is hard without using Champions or a timer, introduces players to a Raid mechanic and has some of the best visual set pieces we've ever seen The community on the forums - "it's too long it's too difficult it's boring why does this Clovis Bray space station look similar to the other Clovis Bray space station we've already been on stop reusing mechanics from an activity that the majority of players will never have played wow this mission took zero effort to make just copy and paste" Some of the other comments on this post are proof that certain people will never be satisfied.

30 RisposteWow yea, praise them for scamming us. GG for taking my money twice by copy and pasting 90 % of a 2 year old raid and re-selling it to us. GG all around. People like you are the exact reason Bungie has been putting ZERO effort into the game recently. Do you not see the trend? Like actually? It's nuts to see appreciation posts like this for garbage reused content like this.

1 RispondiIt does look cool, but that doesn't really compensate for just how much I absolutely hate the entire thing.

agree. this was a win. also soloed it.

3 RisposteI was bored playing it tbh

21 RisposteJust more recycled trash.

It is a great mission. The space walk on satellite was awesome.
-
Yeah I liked it🙂

5 RisposteI think Bungie knocked it out of the park. To me, it is on level with the Presage. This mission had me taking out my phone to help memorize the disco floor. 😆 Good stuff, Bungie

2 RisposteBeing outside in outer space did it for me. That was amazing. Felt real.
-
I was up till about 3.30 this morning finishing it. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
-
It was truly a very cool experience

3 RisposteThere was no timer. Thats all it takes for me to be happy with and actually do these missions anymore. Sad but true.

I didn’t get a new exotic mission? It actually sounds like fun.

I didn’t really like it. The new dungeon is really fun though.
-
Nice! I’m going to give it a try this weekend. Looking forward to it.

My husband and I did this yesterday, and we loved it. It was breathtaking. It’s like a happy marriage between Presage (which we also loved) and Deep Stone Crypt, our favorite raid. Not even mad that they reused assets. There is a wrong and right way to reuse something—this is an example of reusing something right. To me, it still felt fresh to keep me engaged. The view was amazing. I need more space dungeon crawls.

4 RisposteModificato da Kenny: 12/21/2022 11:58:33 AMIt's ok. 1) The person who thought that having a 15sec respawn timer is a good idea, needs to get fired. I'm sorry, I know it's harsh, but it's true. In Mirror's Edge 1 you respawn immediately after failing a jumping puzzle. 2) The puzzles are nice addition. They are not as clever & enjoyable as in Portal, but hey Portal is masterpiece anyway. 3) I really like the final boss fight - you have to kill a dude, grab his buff, shoot the boss from a specific location to unlock his shield generators, destroy the shield generators, then do DPS. It's nice. And you learn all the mechanics in an organic way. Bungie should consider remaking raids into some singel player story missions that utilize these ways of teaching the player the mechanics. It would be a better learning experience than watching a 1 hour long Rick Kackis or SelloutPlays guide. 4) It's basically a dungeon light version of the DSC, just like Heresy is a dungeon version of Kings Fall. So yeah re-used assets and all that stuff. Overall "Not great, not terrible" keep it going, keep improving.

1 RispondiNever done crypt raid so was cool seeing similar mechanics to the raid in this mission so I feel more inclined to try the raid now . Did it with a clan member and no mics it was hilarious and worth it 🤣

1 RispondiMy 11 year old son did it solo. Was very impressed. He ended up carrying two of my friends afterwards. I definitely couldn’t solo it

It could have been better as a community secret event...

15 RisposteShooting for 3 minutes, jumping and solving puzzles for 27. I thought this was a looter shooter, but guess not. I played Zelda for half an hour and was sick of it, now they slowly making a Zelda game from this game. Even the new dungeon is like that. You can literally skip all of the enemies, it's just "puzzles". This is definitely not for me. If they decide to go further down this path, I'm out. I play looter shooters for looting and shooting, I despise insanely long puzzle and jumping sections. That's not what I signed for.

I liked it as well. Decent enough difficulty without becoming an absolute slog. The gravity in space and those silly rotating solar panels (you want those to constantly point at the sun not “fanning” the vacuum) are a bit of a head scratcher. I suppose the jumping in space was done mostly as a cost saver and perhaps also for consistency of movement mechanics. The view is stunning though. It had that same feel as the legendary witch queen campaign. No champions, yay!!! Cool mission, with a nice exploration element.

honestly i rlly liked the mix of the new and old felt like just right

3 RisposteA highlight for me, strangely, was when I missed a jump on the exterior of the station. As I plummeted back to Earth, my character did the rag-doll emote. Looked like something out of a Wile E. Coyote cartoon.
