Have you pre-ordered Lightfall & the annual pass yet? Why &/or why not? What has Bungie done or What could Bungie do to build your confidence for Destiny 2’s sixth year? What are you most excited for in Y6 or What is a topic of concern that Bungie could address to get you excited for D2 again?
-
I'm only getting the pre-order for the stuff, it gives me bragging rights
-
I’m out after this season it’s been a complete sh!+ show this year.
-
As a PvP player. Yep. Big changes incoming with Strand which will completely justify the movement and AE nerfs. We got a re up on comp too. They probably won’t add new maps for what is likely to be the last 2 years of D2 but otherwise the sandbox feels great barring a few pain points.

Modificato da DragonKnight901: 11/22/2022 7:42:58 PMHonestly I am, destiny is one of the games that keeps me happy hooked on, not many other games do that for me because I just enjoy it. (call me whatever you want I don’t care) plus there is not that many (autocorrect at it again) games coming out this year and next year probably 4 or 5 at max and even then I finish it leaving me with nothing much else to play.

A friend got it for me as a birthday present the day before I was gonna buy it for myself. I'm genuinely excited. I don't really care about "state of the game" or "pvp balancing" or anything like that. If things arent good, I use something else and keep going. Also, story from the trailer looks good to me, and neonuma and strand look like they'll be fun. So I'm hyped for it. I do hope they add a bit more quality to things like core playlists to give incentive to actually want to play them, but otherwise i cant wait.

Sadly I pre-ordered. More to pay upfront so I don't have to discover for myself all the new ways Bungie would otherwise try to milk me... These WQ seasons were uninteresting drivel. Short crap. I did not like. Boring. Witch Queen legendary was quite enjoyable. Hoping for more of that. Truthfully, I like destiny but it use to be love. The final shape should be code named, the last hurrah! Because it will likely be. As a developer, I have come to truly dislike Bungie. Sloppy, and slow, to outright broke releases... I would be hard pressed to support something that clearly doesn't care about players. The sheer amount of unconsciousable decisions made just in the life span of D2 sadly spits in the face of all the developers real world causes. I find it impossible that both halves of this Bungie equation could be true. It is far more likely that this current Bungie will eventually run out of goodwill and simply be generally disliked. I am fairly secure in my thinking that Destiny will be my last Bungie game. They would have to reinvent the wheel to pique my interest and then, awash in hype, I would declare it... "Recycled!" Honestly, after whatever's next fails... I will be looking to the renewed focus on Destiny. The sooner the better.
-
I pre-ordered and I have zero confidence that the current Bungie can make Lightfall any good. I play Destiny as a last resort most of the time so I know I'm getting my money back no matter how awful next year is. If the game Christopher Barrett is (supposedly) working on turns out to be a new game or a new Destiny, I'll probably move to that.
-
I am not excited. The way everyone slurped WQ which was nothing more than the campaign we should have always gotten and a raid was scary. I’m sure LF will be mediocre and everyone will pretend like it’s the best expansion ever
-
I think if lightfall fails (which will most likely happen sadly even though it looks awesome) Bungie will have to give up destiny or just make a 3rd one which they should've done after shadowkeep imo but yeah luckily they are making other games in the future that aren't related to this mess so that's good.
-
I sent in a refund request to Sony last Friday. That probably answers your question.
-
I might buy it if they have a revolver visually identical to the Trust 180 HC, but that would be the only reason...
-
Modificato da mac626: 11/23/2022 7:37:42 PMLmao pre-order NOT. This game is done with. Needs a major overhaul New people, new management etc. Think avatar might kick bungie in the azz.
-
I am excited about the changes they announced in the reveal. But unless more happens behind the scenes and there is an engine upgrade or memory optimization coming then no. This game gets harder to play and I'm sick of fighting it instead of enemies
-
2 RisposteI preordered CE on reveal day (which I normally do) but am really struggling to be a fan anymore. I’m tired of the woke garbage and the subpar quality of the game since Shadowkeep. It’s been a slow but steady decline, Forsaken was the pinnacle of D2 and I don’t see it ever getting to that point again. Bungie has embraced the micro transaction cosmetics model and the game has suffered for it. I’ve been a fan since January 2015 and am literally thinking of canceling my preorder for the first time ever and calling it quits. I’ve been through the lows of Destiny before but there was always something to keep me going. That’s gone now. I just logged on to try the event, I haven’t played much in weeks, only to get weaseled and marrionberried 2x. Theres been an uptick with these errors even though I’ve changed nothing with my setup. I hard reset and got kicked the 2nd time then came here to see if others are disgusted in general. I saw your post and here I am.

Modificato da JM-TheChosen1: 11/22/2022 11:40:47 PMNo, not excited but I'll be there eventually just to keep up with the new content. It's whatever. No pre-orders though. Not doing that for any game again. Building my excitement or confidence? Idk, it's a looter shooter and it does what it's supposed to do. I have loot, rolls and armor. Tbh, I don't need more junk In my vault when the seasonal artifact just let me rotate the same guns. PVP? Never again in this game.
Other games exist so...
-
Nope. Won’t even consider buying until a few weeks in. Bungie has showed time and time again that they aren’t capable of being able to consistently make fun content that respects my time
-
Not really, because the game format has become stale, predictable and boring beyond words. I really can’t stand the thought of another pointless power grind doing things years old. The final point, the main point is the game is no longer fun, not even remotely. Thousands of hours in and maybe enough is enough.
-
1 RispondiExcited? Yes. Want to play? Yes. Will order? No. My reasoning is simple. Bungie's attitude towards the game has been abysmal for the past year or so. They milk us hard but don't give anything back in return. Seemingly no effort, no passion like in the good old days before they split from Activision. They no longer see their child, they only see business. That would be okay if things didn't come out half baked, broken or copy pasted. They couldn't even get copy pasted events to work. Destiny 2 is at its lowest point both in terms of PvP and PvE.
-
2 RisposteMaybe, hope new supers won't be busted, probably will be.
-
Nope. I’ve done the campaign and I have no idea what’s going on in the story since I don’t do repetitive seasonal activities anymore and don’t like raiding with randos.
-
No, I'm not exited because it will be the same or even worse, like this year.
-
Yes and no. I’m happy for new content and Strand looks like it might be cool, but the game is in a content deficit. There’s so many unsolved problems that have gone unchanged for years and if Bungie keeps things the way they are I don’t think a lot of those changes will come. If you’re curious of what I mean by content deficit, think of how many gear pieces, exotic and legendary alike, that have either always sucked or nerfed for a specific reason and is now no longer viable or didn’t get changed with a big update. This has been a problem since year 1 but that doesn’t at all justify it.
-
Nope. Level progression sucks. No quality is ever put into the game. Season model needs to be changed or removed. Pvp is just bad. Like words can't describe how bad. Maybe remove pvp bad. Strikes are boring. The game is just stale.
-
I’m curious to see where the main story goes, not really interested in the crow stuff etc Not happy with seasonal DLC delivery and also not happy about bungie not making easy/small changes to make the game way more fun. D1 strike modifiers as an example. Also the game has felt overly repetitive since they gutted the maps and strikes and planets.
-
Have not pre ordered and have no hype I must be one of the few that doesn’t see great things in strand I am very disappointed in the lack of investment evident in pvp discussion of hiring a map guy at this stage is an absolute insult to the players They should realise that many of us that buy everything actually play pvp I can only base my opinion of the future on what I see currently and well I didn’t even play enough of the season to get all the story beats this season
-
I'm sure about Lightfall, but everything that comes after - not so much. No annual pass for me this time. Let's see how things go first.
