Out of curiosity I checked light.gg for how many legendary and exotic non-sunset weapons there are in the game right now. The total? 399. So you could have one copy of every non-sunset legendary or exotic weapon in the game, which includes having an adept and non-adept version of all applicable weapons, and still have 101 free spaces. So wtf are you people holding on to?

Modificato da Rogue: 5/15/2022 12:29:38 PMYou’re leaving out the fact that there’s 3 classes, all with 3 elements and different versions of said elements. You need at minimum 5 pieces of armor each, most people also play more than on element. 2 builds on 3 classes is 30 pieces of armor, and that’s CLEAN. Most people also have their pvp set, variations of builds, and then 33+33+33 exotics. Not only that, both pvp and PVE most weapons have more than one amazing roll. It’s not an unreasonable request.
-
Realistically you should have around 200 slots open in your vault for armor, on top of the 150 slots a cross all three characters. That’s 70 different armor builds. That’s over 20 per character. I doubt many people use over 20 sets per character regularly, and if they do, then they need to get some better armor.

I’m sorry, but using my loot slots to hold on to my gear is unacceptably risky, when the post master has such a limited inventory.

That’s an additional 80 inventory slots on each character for weapons and armor. So, if you’re running 3 characters, you actually have 740 slots for weapons and armor If you count the vault space and inventory space on your actual character. If you’re running out of space, that’s 100% a hoarding issue.

Exotic armors, legendary armors.
-
That would be 399 copies for PVE and then another 399 for PVP.
-
Are you just ignoring high stat armor being saved for all 3 classes?
-
Why would you have any more than three sets at a time? Switching out mods it's free. If you master work your armor sets all you got to do is do a quick swap of elements. Even there you're probably just have a backup piece just to put on. So where is the imaginary 5+ builds that you're using on all three characters?
-
Modificato da ACROCANTHUS: 5/15/2022 1:44:16 AMBecause you want to focus on different stats with different armor sets. Sometimes I want to crank lethality and hyperfocus on discipline and intellect. Sometimes I want to focus on resilience and recovery. Some builds want high strength. Some builds are exclusive to a specific exotic. Saying you'll be fine with only 3 sets of armor just isn't true when you want to actually build craft and use more than 1 build.
-
Because you want to focus on different stats with different armor sets.
Every build I've seen so far doesn't even account for stats so much. With elemental wells, you are making so many so fast that you are getting your abilities back within seconds. There's even a build where you throw a grenade and literally fill up half your super bar. What stats do you honestly need? Granted, PVP you probably need to roll mobility intelligence recovery and resilience. That one I will give you. I already see players that claim they have four stats maxed out. You have to grind for that one. Other than that? I still say you need one set for each subclass per character. So a total of four sets each. You can carry up to nine. I still don't see why you need to fill up your vault.

Typically I build around exotics I want to use, which they come with varied stat distributions so I tend to keep most good armor I get around if I should get an exotic with a jank stat distribution so I'll be able to make a workable loadout immediately. And I tend to be adventurous with my loadouts, like I have a bottom tree dawnblade, warmind cell, and Polaris Lance one that works very well, so I can't rely on wells for loadouts like that. The one I'm liking now is a charged with light one with my stasis subclass osmiomancy gloves. I keep a lot of armor around because I like the freedom to make a decent loadout to fit any playstyle I find myself interested in pretty much. Honestly, my problem is weapons I just don't use. I have to get better at telling myself I haven't used something in a year. And sometimes I fill my vault with infusion fuel and forget about it so ita literally filled with just trash rolls at max power. As for PvP, I can't say I'm good at it, so I can't talk too much about stats in there. And yeah, it's tough to get 4 100 stats, I haven't got any sets that can even go to 3 in what I want and I've been buying the high stat armor every week for so long.
-
Not being sarcastic or anything but a lot of my vault is for armor for different builds As someone who likes to play all 3 classes having enough armor both exotic and legendary to afford the flexibility does eat up a lot of my vault more so than weapons Just throwing it out there

Modificato da Necrogen: 5/15/2022 12:58:20 AMHow many builds do you have per character? I typically have three one for each subclass. Usually when I see builds I probably have to get a second chest piece or helmet and change out the element if I need to or just share pieces. Me I have nine total sets which sit in my characters inventory. There are some exact that I use that are in said nine sets.

All these people out here stockpiling blues or something.

I'm not. I have only 350 or so vault space filled. And THAT IS HARD (thats what she said). So maybe try playing before making a statement like that.
I'm not. I have only 350 or so vault space filled. And THAT IS HARD (thats what she said). So maybe try playing before making a statement like that.
Unfortunately for you, I do play. In case you missed my reply to someone in this thread:
I just checked my main account. 874 raid clears 293 dungeons. 95 GM clears. Just like you, I don’t really care about Trials. Vault: 327/500 used. ~25 are fully masterworked exotics to store excess Ascendant Shards/Enhancement Prisms ~40 are The Titles from Guardian Games that I need to sort through and purge the bad rolls. I don’t know how people are struggling with 500 vault spaces. Honestly, I’d like to see a screenshot of their vaults so we can see exactly what they’re hoarding.
Modificato da Amazinite: 5/14/2022 8:36:22 PMHere, let me do the work for you guys. 115 raid clears (top 10% according to raid.report). 118 dungeon clears (top 10% according to dungeon.report). Solo flawelessed all dungeons. 38 GM clears. 2,390 hours played in activities (top 6% according to Wasted On Destiny). Been playing D2 since season 1. 0 flawless because I don’t have the patience for that and got all the non-adept trials weapons I wanted in one week. Never legend in comp because who cares. Vault currently at 165/500.
