They never had expiry dates until Bungie reintroduced them into Destiny 2 for the first time.
Just pointless restrictions, considering completed bounties never expire.

1 RispondiThey don’t want people have to much bright dust shhhh
-
Funnily enough bounties in d1 don't expire still. It just a weird fomo strategy from smart ol' Bungie
-
2 RisposteModificato da DNF2005: 11/2/2021 10:11:37 PMI dislike the scripted play What happened to “play your way” ??? What is the big deal with using the stuff I want to use ? Constantly forced to use weapons I don’t like and if I don’t I am punished by not being able to compete bounties quickly. Maybe it’s forced on you because they have to justify weapon and sub class usage ????? Or maybe it’s data driven to make activities longer since you can’t use optimal load outs ???
-
3 RisposteIts to force you to play every day / week. Or else players would just grab every bounties possible then doing all of those at the same time. Turning a daily chore into a time efficient gaming session And bungie wants you to play THEIR way
-
Bounties don’t need expiry dates. Just remove them.
Yes, they don't. And they used to have none. But then Bungie decided to apply FOMO in the game and to go full throttle in the hamster wheel.
-
I agree that bounties should not expire. You can only hold hold one copy of a bounty at a time anyway (completed or not). There is no negative impact to other players since there is no advantage in taking longer to complete them. It's just a convenience to be able to complete them passively over the course of more than one play session. What's funny is that there are people opposed to the idea when it literally has no impact between players. Talk about totalitarians... "You must play the game the way I do. Get your bounties done... NOW!". Same people probably complain about not being able to play the way they want due to the champion mods for the season.
-
They need to remove bounty farm, its ridiculous we have to grind bounties in order to do GM or master raids
-
19 RisposteYou know there are people who would save every bounty until next season and turn them all in to get instant tier 100 and 20+ artifact levels right?
-
2 RisposteThey also don‘t Need to cost glimmer
-
2 RisposteNot only that, it's the constant recycling the same bounties for 4 years now.
-
1 Rispondi
Just pointless restrictions, considering completed bounties never expire.
I just lost all the Festival of the Lost 2021 bounties I had completed after the event was over :(
-
Modificato da Demon_XXVII: 11/3/2021 1:51:48 AMNo expiry dates? But if you leave them too long The chocolate goes funny! And you can’t waste a dark chocolate Bounty! (They’re rare as fook) 😆
-
I'm gonna use your term "expiry " to my husband. Then watch his facial expression. :)
-
2 RisposteWhen I see bounty I actually see time. Time to load/travel/do vs benefit, end up not doing them majority of the time. Bounties are just glimmer sink at this point.
-
1 RispondiJust make the daily and weekly bounties a permanent part of the game. You log in and there you go a list of daily and weekly tasks per activity or destination to take care of without having to pick up anything. Maybe double the amount (4 weekly and 8 daily) and increase the rewards to include upgrade mats or progression for activities. Want a little bit more? Grab some repeatable bounties with no time limit so you can finish them whenever.
-
5 RisposteDisagree. Just get them done. Another thing people don't need to stock pile.
-
1 RispondiBounties just need to be retired at this point. It's a relic of an older play style. Not only that, but it's counter intuitive to the whole "team based" gameplay, as you're basically fighting your fellow guardians just to complete said bounty.
-
16 RisposteTime limit is supposed to inspire FOMO, to make you stick around, play more, and come back often. Too bad it often has the opposite effect... "Oh, I might miss out on this? Then why bother trying. Later!"
-
Well given most bounties that do have them are relatively easy to complete, does it really matter if they have timers or not?
-
4 RisposteTo this day my d1 titan still has bounties on it from 4 yrs ago lol
-
Modificato da ALLtheHerobrines: 11/2/2021 6:16:56 PMThis. Yeah, I had an old half finished d1's Trials bounties sitting in my inventory from over 3 yrs ago. Lol

5 RisposteModificato da SirEman80: 11/2/2021 11:53:13 AMI find it funny that the community basically begged to have bounties come back before forsaken… This community is its own worst enemy. Players: Bungie there is this square on a screen I can click for optional xp/currency. I don’t want to do that… Bungie: you don’t have to do the optional bounties. Players: No, just give us those materials you scummy company.
-
If you can't do a simple bounty within the day or a weekly within 7 days, why did you ever pick it up?
-
Yhea and while we at it just give us infinite ammo on all weapon it's just a bad restriction and I will get ammo drop eventually so it's make no sense to restrict us that way
-
Please -blam!- do bungie ffs
