Would love to see it myself, the one that gets me is we had "The Crow" showing up in early clips, it's now taken them 6 yrs to slowly reintroduce that character in a bastardised form. Things like the Plague lands from Rise of Iron were in the pre beta videos. The leaked roadmap of D1, the final 2 expansions on it, vex and cabal got redone as D2. Staten and his team had created a strong foundation and Bungie execs destroyed it.

Yeah, would really be interesting to see how that turned out. I mean I DO like where they've taken the story at least after year 2 of D2 with the Dreaming City and the Drifter etc, but yeah, might've been a cool story. ...sadly probably doesn't change much of what I assumed elsewhere. They likely will never release that stuff, because they don't really care and it's too late anyway. Seems like Staten was pissed though. Kind of understand him leaving after that whole thing. Would be cool to hear him talk in detail about everything I guess.

He's probably got a minimum 10yr NDA contract to hush him up. I feel sorry for his team who put all that work into it, to then be ostracised from the reboot work to the point they had no alternative but to move on. Think it's also important to add, as much as his vision of Destiny (Halo/SW The Old Republic) was far better than what we got. That doesn't guarantee it would've been enough to save Destiny from Bungie's other failings. Poor balancing, matchmaking, using a 10yr old engine then adapted for PS3 cell architecture(their attempt at a new engine for D2 failed). No dedicated servers, Bungies inherent incompetence, laziness and greed.
