Bye bye Hunter, I'm a Warlock main now
Maybe it's just this seasons mods, but I feel like the exotics synergize really well together and you can create some fun builds on Warlocks. My favorite of course is top tree dawnblade with sunbracers for PvE.
Max Strength + Enhanced Momentum Transfer + Molten Overload + Solar plexus + Enhanced Ashes to Assets + Primary with Demolitionist
I think everyone knows this build by now but my lord it's fun to use. Not to mention that Icarus Dash is also a blast once you get it down.
But even when the seasons mods go away I'll still love messing around with Chaos Reach and Nova builds.

I recommend trying out getaway artist with bottom tree stormcaller. Rock something for the close or mid range and watch people flip out every time they fight you. Plus, having your entire team all running with an arc buddy is a little unnerving to the enemy team. Getaway also works well with reach, because of ionic trace.

I'm a pvp only sorta guy and swapped to top tree dawnblade a week ago or so after one-tricking bottom tree striker with dunemarchers for the past 6 months. Icarus dash is amazing after you get the double burst glide weaved into double dash into muscle memory. The instant movement in any direction by 20-30 meters every 5 seconds is incredible neutral play and daybreak's got more faster 2-4 kill potential than the current bottom tree slam after you learn the burst glide + icarus dash movement in super coupled with properly aiming the daybreak projectiles. Ophidian aspect immediately became my favorite exotic. It enabled me to use a couple god-rolled guns that just lacked the handling perks to use competetively without issues. The extra melee range compensates for bottom striker's equivalent perk. Then transversive steps replaced dunemarchers one to one movement wise for speedy gonzales shotgun aping as well. Warlocks are amazing.

1 RispondiThis is the first time in 5+ years of destiny I actively stopped playing my warlock . I have been a void warlock since day 1 . But what has bungie done to void warlock (or lack thereof) and us blink lovers : 1) REMOVED [u]LANCE[/u] AS A POSSIBLE NOVA BOMB TREE OPTION . Why was this ever changed it takes real value out of long range Nova bomb usage like in D1. I used to love blink cross mapping people with a well aimed Nova with Lance , that simply is not possible with current paths unless your enemy is completely dumb. 2) Nova warp gutted to where it easily feels like the weakest roaming super. - ionic Blink munching through super energy - explosions not properly going off at times - lack of range in comparison to other good. Roaming supers . - lowest hyperarmor stat of roaming supers . They literally toned down burst glide too , I hated warlock glide for aggressive pvp playing . It was usable before now it just feels slow , what is there for us void-lovers ?

Hunters can get 100 mobility, recov and resilience, meaning i can -blam!- your radar up every few seconds. Don't see warlocks or titans doing that

1 RispondiAnother nice one is risk runner with veritys brow. You see arc dmg run into it and charge yourself up even better when you have catalyst with it.

Always been a warlock main, though despite the changes this season, still a bottom tree stormcaller/crown of tempest build, just find it so much fun playing a sith Lord. Titan, my favourite build is bottom tree sentinel / Doom fang vestments. Although code of missile / mask of the quiet one is alot of fun on more open maps. Hunter, Blade barrage / shards, I'm rarely on hunter, usually just collecting bounties in IB, so it's an easy one to use, occasionally switch it up with middle tree arcstrider/ gemini jester.

7 RisposteI went from Titan to Hunter. Pretty hilarious struggling to hit legend the past 2 seasons with my titan only to go hunter and hit legend within a day. [spoiler]Invis every 9 seconds + Revoker = EZ kills for days[/spoiler]

Yeah same, for pvp you have a lot more options playing on a warlock and I wanted to try the "healer" setup

I've switched from hunter main to mostly warlock with the same build. I got lucky too and had an old helmet with 30 recovery and ashes to assets on it, so I can run solar plexus with a stat mod on the artifact and still keep the bonus super energy on grenade kill

7 RisposteBye bye Warlock, I'm a Hunter main now (in PVP) The OP has discovered the best PVE class in the game.....and the worst PVP class. I'm a Warlock and have gone to legend PVP with it and its pretty bad. Hunters have it all in PVP but I feel sorry for them in PVE for the most part. I'm glad you have seen the "Warlock Light" in PVE but you will be hugely disappointed in PVP. I can go down the list of issues in PVP (and its long and ugly) but yes, Warlocks have been built by Bungie to be a PVE class and we excel at that. Since I have started playing my Hunter in PVP I now know why there are so many of them in that game mode. Its a night and day difference. Titans fall somewhere in the middle and are better than Warlocks. In D1 (assuming you played) there was a lot more parity with the classes in PVE and PVP. In D2 that isn't the case so when Bungie said "play the way you want" that's really BS in D2.

Mods to get back shotgun+fusion ammo and extra damage from charged with light make this really powerful for strikes and sundial. Heavy can be tractor cannon to combo with trench barrel or hammerhead for longer range kills. Add transversive steps and never reload again.
