I'm just wondering why you quit... Is it pure rage and frustration? You know you still get the loss and all that comes with it, right? Are you just trying to save time? I don't get it... am I wrong about it still counting losses? Do you really care that much about what trolls think about your stats vs your actual performance when it matters?

Once a week, everyone joins a comp match and quits right as it starts. Wait til weekly reset and repeat. You didnt know this?

I leave if i get control in classic mix. Its just shit mode compared to clash / supremacy and its main mode all the time, why is it even in classic mix ffs..

Traditionally, because I'm not having fun. Currently, because the meta dictates that I go up against shotgun after shotgun and lose because I don't want to waste 15 hours of my life farming for a god roll Mindbender's Ambition while also dying to the one, the only, the Completely Original Loadout™ of Mountaintop, Recluse, and One Eyed Mask. Some seasons have been more enjoyable than others but this season is particularly bad as far as loadout variety and viability is concerned and it simply isn't fun to play against or with the same weapons every single time just to stay competitive, thanks to the unfortunate introduction of SBMM, and even in Classic Mix I experience the same thing. I want to enjoy Crucible because I always see flashes of that Halo heritage in there, but it never fully delivers as it currently stands. Honestly, I believe a game mode where you spawn with a random weapon loadout would at least make it interesting enough for me to second guess leaving.

3 RisposteWho wants to stay in a game when within the first minute the score is 25-4

suggestion: leaving once: one item from character/vault gets deleted (maybe the one with the highest light) leavin twice: two items... and so on...

1 RispondiHad this happen in freelance survival yesterday and had a blast. Both teammates left not sure why. Spent the rest of the time emoting with a Titan from the other team. The two hunters that were with him just kept killing me while I was trying to fish. The Titan keep shooting & punching his teammates after they killed me. Hell he even popped his super to try & block them from shooting me. I busted out the sword fight emote and he joined in ,well at least until the hunters killed me lol. Was some of the most fun I had in crucible in a while. Some people just take this shit too serious. Finished that match at 0.36 KDA & had more fun than if I went 3.0 😂😂😂

4 RisposteI quit when it becomes clear that conditions for completing my quests cannot be met. If Crucible would stop being consistently bad, I'd probably stay. But with the insistence on shit balance and quarantining halfway decent players away from the rest of the population, why the -blam!- should I even bother?
-
I dont care about Valor rank crucible if players leave. It doesnt matter.. But if your referring to glory ranked shenanigans... That needs to be address by bungie. Theres no reason for it. Players still in the game are punished because of it and cant leave for fear of getting a ban. I believe (and this is my own drawn out conclusion based on what Ive seen), if you are waffle stomping a team so bad and beat them 4-0, and you then immediately start another round, chances are you will be pitted against that team again. Ive had this happen a few times. It really helps get your winning streaks going lol. So if a player leaves way early, he's trying to get out of getting matched up against your team or with his current potato team.

Modificato da Fenrir: 11/26/2019 5:08:59 PMIf they quit within the first minute of they game, they were killed once and want to protect their stats. If they leave halfway, they obviously got tired of getting farmed. If they leave towards the end, they've accepted it's a lost cause and back out most likely to protect their stats. If you're talking about comp, then anyone who leaves deserves to have their foreskin maliced by a shoehorn

When you choose to play with random players, random things happen. THey dont care about winning, they have bad connections, they rage out and quit or maybe they aren't skilled enough. I play with a team if I want to win

I'll leave control matches if my team is playing it exclusively as clash. If I see a majority of my teammates passing up open points to then just go and kill someone, like that could have been worth double if you stayed to cap that point. We're not going to win and I'm just going to get frustrated being the only one even aiming toward the obj

Modificato da an Ape with a d2 addiction: 11/26/2019 10:25:04 AMRealistically if something urgent demands my attention outside of the screen I stop playing. It's a game. Outside of that, leaving because of in-match stuff depends on the playlist. If it's competetive I don't leave. You go to competetive with assumption of getting to the top by playing 3v3 matches, that includes you having 2 teammates to fight the opposing 3 with. You make that assumption and also fulfill that same expectation others make towards you, because there are no in-match refills. Whether you win or lose a match is irrelevant towards long-term. You win or lose an engagement/ teamfight/1v1, figure out why either way and this makes you a better player. If you're getting stomped because of X, figure out what they're doing and how to counter it or do it better yourself and there's a thing you can go practise. This is how you improve as a player and then as an extension you start winning more games in total. There's no reason to leave in competetive where it punishes your team. When it's 3v3 or even 2v3, you can always do something or at least take notes. It's not max 6 opposing players where sometimes all agency just goes out the window. If it's 1v3 and there's realistically nothing you can do, you have to write it off as an unlucky loss and carry on. Sometimes that happens to the opposing team and it translates as a lucky win for you and you're even. Leaving penalties have to be equal to everyone or someone will find a way to abuse them. With that out of the way, 6v6 quickplay. I leave when it's a game where I have no agency towards the outcome and playing becomes unenjoyable. Note that close even lobbies are enjoyable. When everybody's lagging in SBMM so hard nothing you do realistically matters. When it's a 5-stack of Unbrokens chaining supers from 1 spawn to the other (yes this happened and it wasnt fun) while your team's collective KDA in that match is 0.6. Quickplay doesn't matter since your team gets refills. It's not competetive and it's not 3v3. Well this was a rant. Hope it can shed some light on why folks might potentially leave under the right circumstances.

3 RisposteIt's perfectly fair to leave if you're stuck in a laggy match or you join on uneven teams and you're not having fun.

Modificato da ScottF 2112: 11/25/2019 11:18:03 PMPeople probably quit when they aren't having fun. A lot of people probably don't like losing by a huge margin and know that the game has terrible team balance. They can quit the really bad matches and get to one that is lopsided in their favor. I'm not sure if that really speeds progress on bounties or quests compared to just playing each match out, but I can see that people might think that way. From the other point of view one could ask "Why do more successful PVP players continue to complain about people leaving when they are on the losing side of a beat down? Is it too hard for you to pad your stats against opposing teams when their players leave?"

A close match is usually fun win or lose. I quit when a match becomes more than simply being beaten. When you can't get fair kills due to bad connections or a forced 50% win/loss referee (if that's even a real thing). What exactly gets me to quit? When i notice i keep getting the drop on enemy players and landing half a magazine or more (not even dropping their shield), and they have time to casually turn around and 1 shot me with a primary... ...or I slam a nova bomb directly on top of an enemy team without doing any damage to any of them. Ghost bullets, ghost supers, and bullet proof enemies with 1 shot primary weapons...When a match turns into this type of game I'm backing out. It's not worth my time to sit through a broken match with no fair chance to defend myself. Edit: I'm talking about IB and quickplay types of games here. I wouldn't ditch a team in comp. I don't play comp very often at all, but I can't see myself leaving my team in that kind of situation.

3 RisposteIf I'm stuck in the black loading screen for more than 20 seconds I'll give the match a try. Usually though those matches are super laggy. If they do end up being super laggy with invincible lag warriors rubber banding and teleporting everywhere, I leave. Or if the Mach I join is already started and if the team I'm put on is already 20-30 points behind, I leave (this happens a lot). This games servers for pvp right now are really really really bad. I generally leave 1 out of every 5 matches just because they are sooooooooo f**king laggy.

Im so close im mythic III right now and im hoping if i can streak tomorrow night to finally get my nf, i had a match tonight where a team quit... Dunno why, certainly gunna take the freebie. Im so close it makes me chest hurt lol

What I don't understand is when people leave when their team loses 1 round. 1 round doesn't determine a match, stay and try to fight for the win.

5 RisposteI only leave a match if it’s a garaunteed loss in comp. like when it’s the last round and it’s a 3v1 and the other team has 2 lives left and my the last guys about to die. Something about leaving before the defeated screen makes it less frustrating lol. In quickplay I just leave if I’m bored or if I’m just not enjoying it atm. No point in playing soemthing if it’s just gonna make me mad🤷🏻♂️.
