• Git gud isn’t being rude, it’s a challenge. Instead of sitting down and limiting yourself, it’s people telling you to push yourself harder to go further and try more, rather than blaming the game. Not accurate in every instance but it’s how I took it when I started playing platformers.

    • And you’re saying this when their past 25 games kd is 0.3 higher than their overall so they are improving.

      • You can only get good if you want to, if you get farmed one game and don’t pay attention to what your doing wrong you won’t get better.

      • Not everyone is trying to get better and that’s fine if one doesn’t feel the need to. Playing a ton will incrementally make you better but (as with all things in life one can improve on with practice) being able to truly identify ones shortcomings and knowing the best method as to tackle said shortcomings is vital if you are looking for more than incremental improvement. I can’t tell you why this person is still not at least at a 1.0 kd since it’s all speculation from my current standpoint. The amount of variables that one needs to parse through is significant. If I spent sometime playing with them I’d be able to identify said shortcomings. This is also a good time to bring up why Destiny needs a kill cam. So we can see what we did wrong or what the opponent did right from their POV. It helps allot in figuring out what you did wrong in some engagements. Like when athletes and coaches watch film of previous games or a opponent they are about to play/or played. They self analyze just as much as they do the opponent.

      • In D1 I also carried a .8 average or worse in pvp, and my friends gave me a lot of shit for it, so I dedicated all my efforts to making my average KD positive. It took months, but eventually I started hitting more shots, getting more kills, and gradually improved. By the time D2 came out I had gone from a .8 to a 1.08. Not the most amazing improvement but it was a goal I set for myself and I achieved it. The point is “gitting gud” is a matter of perspective. I think I got gud by the end of D1, and all I had to do was put my mind to it. If I had to guess I’d say this guy just enjoys pvp whether he wins or loses. He probably doesn’t feel any pressure to “git gud” and even if he did with 25k games played it would take a few thousand games with a 1.2 or better to get him to a positive kd

      • The ones who say "git gud" are usually people who are great at this video games PvP aspect. They tend to speak down on people who aren't as good because ,even if they don't acknowledge it, playing Destiny PvP is one of the very few things they actually are good at In life. It's like a hobo making fun of you for not being able to find edible food in a trash can...Sure, they're better at it than you are, but you actually live in a house 😁👍

        • You will get better with practice at everything, as long as you try to. That guy might not even try to get better, maybe he just plays and doesn't care about how good he does. If you say that you're bad because "not everyone will get good with practice" you're just making excuses
