When will Eververse be deleted? Destiny finally has some major competition. Looking at the Anthem reveal I see a lot of hope. You've got likely a better story, no loot boxes, and interesting and different ways to play. It looks to be a mix of Warframe and Destiny.
So, how will you respond Bungie? Because as someone who is completely on the fence about Foresaken, Anthem looks like it deserves my money 1000x more.

I will be moving towards Anthem and Division 2. Bungie refuse to move forward with the Destiny series. Ignoring the need for dedicated server, ignoring the need to have a coherent story that is VISIBLE to the players. Ignoring the cries to separate PvP from PvE etc. etc. I honestly can't see myself buying Forsaken. Certainly it's not a day one purchase and I genuinely don't give a damn about an ornament for the Ace of Spades. Little peeved that they would lock Cayde's ship behind a pre-order bonus though, unless it's also available at level 50 of some Cayde faction. At this stage Bungie could show me a golden goose actually laying an egg and I would still wait to hear from real players (after launch) if the egg tasted like an egg and wasn't a solid lump of iron pyrite!

8 RisposteModificato da HumDrumHokum: 6/9/2018 7:28:20 PMThe E3 Anthem reveal was amazing. Bioware seems to have hit it out of the park. It appears to take the best of both Wareframe and Destiny and blend it together. This is what Bungie needs. Competition. Hopefully it will drive them to change their attitude.

1 RispondiModificato da Talion Grace: 6/11/2018 1:01:16 PMThere won't be loot boxes but you'll be able to buy cosmetics directly, so if you fancy a certain look for your Javelin you just buy the one you want - no RNG rolls - another tick in the box!
-
3 RisposteI watched the 4 minute gameplay reveal trailer, but it didn't look any different from a Destiny strike that you would be playing on repeat, over and over again. So I don't see where people are getting the idea it will be a completely new experience, other than being 3rd person.

Anthem is worth a rent, but certainly not pre-order or Day 1 purchase. In fact, very few games are worth a Day 1 purchase these days.
-
1 RispondiLol. Anthem will probably sell a ton of cosmetics that you have ZERO chance of earning in game. Destiny has had 2-3 things that they’ve sold that couldn’t be earned. Destiny has one of the most customer-friendly microtransaction systems in gaming. Hands down. Warmind gave out like 28 Eververse engrams in the first week if you played through on all 3 characters. Even if Destiny got rid of all RNG in their online store people will still judge them differently than everyone else. 🤷🏿♂️ Oh well, I guess they should have put out a quality game and then we’d all be playing instead of bitching constantly.
Anthem confirmed to not have lootboxes
Calm down. No lootboxes, but you can still buy a ton of cosmetics for real money. No lootboxes, but there will still be plenty of microtransactions available.
-
Already a better game then destiny
-
2 RisposteNo lootboxes and no pvp, both the bane of Destiny 2.

1 RispondiI was excited for Anthem when it was first revealed last year but the latest "gameplay" that's been shown hasn't done anything for me, and hasn't really shown much more than we already knew. I watched the interview that IGN did with one of the Bioware guys and he was super vague about everything, giving no real specific details. I'm still looking forward to finding out more about it, but currently, it hasn't hyped me up, and, from what's been shown and discussed, doesn't appear to be a Destiny competitor in my opinion (in terms of the gameplay, the type of gamer it will attract, etc).

31 RisposteDestiny is going the opposite direction, not only does it have loot boxes AND is not free to play but now there’s a third cost for premium content. And part of that premium content is returning exotics D1 players ALREADY bought.
-
God, Anthem looks so boring. With or without loot boxes, my interest hovering near floor
-
At launch, d1 didn’t have loot boxes at launch and then got them
-
Also no PvP (good!) and there's matchmaking for endgame co-op. Great news.
-
7 RisposteLooks like there are no plans to introduce PvP in Anthem according to Windows Central.. I'll definitely be pre-ordering the game.
-
2 RisposteAlso confirmed to not have PVP.

3 Risposte1: people are so quick to look at the history of Bungie when they release something new, and rightfully so. But this same thing should be done for EA. That last sentence should speak for itself, but as a cherry on top, let’s just add that bio Ware is the dev. The same dev who released Mass Effect Andromeda. Yeah. 2: no loot boxes does not mean no micro transactions. Again, this is EA we are talking about here 3: this game looks like it was made for the sole purpose of competing, it doesn’t look feel like they actually wanted to make it and it shows because the world and gameplay (although it looks stunning) looks so soulless. I am a person who gets easily hyped for a game when I see a trailer or gameplay, especially when it comes to this genre, but anthem looks boring as hell to me

No loot boxes but most likely 1000$ worth of cosmetic items to buy day one.

1 RispondiI'm okay with Destiny's desire to ask for periodic payments the... "Events" that are coming after release of forstanken... If it means the final and absolute death of everfarce... The two should not be allowed to coexist and I'm telling you right now I'm not buying this shit if I'm expected to pay for events, pay for the expansion, and then pay for eververse too. I'll do it if they give the annual pass to everyone who bought the seasonal pass and got a garbage game and two garbage dlcs that weren't worth 35 dollars combined, as an apology for taking peoples money and then screwing them over. I will not do it if I am expected to pay and then pay and pay and then pay and then pay some more. Now I'm not saying I want them to give the exppansion for free, I'm saying if you were a seasonal pass holder, who got screwed, and you decide to give them a second chance by coming back this september, giving a free upgrade to the annual pass edition is the literal least they could do. Or they can just pull Eververse microtransactions out of the game like a bad tooth and rely instead on these special events they're running. I'm fine with that. But I'm not going to tolerate another naked cash grab.

5 RisposteUnless Bungie makes some changes they are going to lose their fan base to Anthem. You guys might want to start actually giving the community what they want instead of promising it charging a arm an a leg and then leaving us disappointed again.
-
No loot boxes = no buy. No incentive to level up.

1 RispondiE a made game. Nuff said
-
To be honest, so far I'm not impressed with Anthem. They've presented this as a flashy game with no substance. If they want to compete then they need to show more than just the same landscape doing the same thing as the last conference.
-
4 RisposteI really hope for all you people looking forward to Anthem that it will be amazing. But odds are it won't be. It's Bioware, who have had a real shakey past few years. And it's EA. The most anti-consumer publisher that exists. I'm of the opinion that it will just be another "Destiny killer" that ends up being disappointing. But, should a miracle happen and someone finally do right what Bungie should have been able to in the first place, it'll be to the benefit of all of us.
-
yeah but all cosmetics are microtransactions. at least you can earn a bunch of that stuff in destiny through gameplay. never trust EA.
