I'm more interested in seeing how D2 takes care of its pvp before even imagining it being any better than D1. Like don't nerf everything to the ground, have a skill based environment for competitive players (while keeping the core of pvp casual friendly), have more control on ability spam in a consistent basis (meaning bungie needs to not give in to people wanting supers and such to occur 25-50% more often than it does), etc etc.
Honestly though, I don't care about the gun skill of the game though cause there are better games that do it better, id much rather see Destinys pvp do something new and different that other games don't, and I'm not holding my breath on that happening.

That depends on whom you ask I guess but ultimately I'd agree, but I'd go even further and just say there are no pvp shooters at all that interest me.
