I know most of us are excited for "Taken Guardians!" But not only will I explain how that works (using educated guesses) I will break down everything mention to us for the April update. (Using educated guessing) •New PVE Challenges This probably just means we have more shit to kill. •New and Updated Gear Well I've have seen a lot of "make old raids and year one things relevant again" posts. I think Bungie was in fact listening! This part of the update will most likely make VoG and Crota armor new and year two worthy. Which also brings me to the Taken Guardians picture. If you haven't noticed that the armor worn was PoE armor. Bungie did count PoE as a raid. So what does this mean? Only the Updated PoE gear will have a "Taken" look to it. I know, it's sort of a bummer, but we most likely aren't getting a Taken shader. That's because the coloring would be really complex to have on any armor. But on the bright side Year one is relevant again! I saw a google image showing the Kabr gloves from VoG but they were silvery blue color and the name of it was different and below it said "A reminder for Bungie to make year one raids relevant" which is why I believe that is what "Update Gear" means. •New Quest featuring the Blighted Chalice Strike Well I don't know about you guys, but I remember the Chalice from the Crota raid. And Blighted...well is another word for "Taken" in this game. (Correct me if I'm wrong) So I have a guess that we have a quest to quest to purify the chalice. •Increased Max Light and Rewards Well... This isn't very hard to rap your minds around. Taking another guess here, (I know just soooo much!) but I think our max light will go up to 330-340 depending on how 'generous' Bungie will be. •Sandbox and Crucible Updates Well I'm pretty much clueless on Sandbox but I believe out Crucible will have at least better connection quality or maybe, just maybe finally add an old fashion CTF game mode. Who wouldn't want that? Or a new map? Who knows! •And more… And more! Probably some new weapon perks or something. Anyway tell me what you guys think! Even if Taken Guardians will only be on the PoE armor, I still want it because it looks pretty sick. Edit: Well no VoG or Crota for us.... Dammit!
