If you're upset about firebolt grenades stop camping around corners hahah. Not all sunsingers use their self-res as a crutch, it's very useful for agility and double grenades plus exotic chest let's you start with a grenade. Solar grenades are great in pve to burn enemies over time and more than once a sunsinger has saved the day in a raid, or solo'd one.

You do realize that camping around corners is all shotguns can do now and barely even that.

Shotguns are inconsistent, but they do not suck and do not feel dirty to use anymore. Sometimes shotguns shoot marshmallows, that's the only issue.

No, I use a quick mid range sniper with low impact so I'm agile. I don't like the sniper or shotgun campers either, so I don't practice such behavior myself.
