Why sbmm is the best thing in this game
Anyone who wants sbmm removed, you're bad, why do you want to constantly stomp noobs below a 1.0 kd? Is it cause you're bad and you need your over inflated ego to be satisfied? Yes.
Sbmm needs to be kept because it makes games more fair, and doesn't mean bad players are consistently rekt by good players. Instead it keeps matches entertaining and competitive.

Lol...sbmm is killing this game. People don't want to try for nothing. Destiny is a "social" game. There are no ranks, emblems, ratings, nothing. Pub stomping is fun, so are sweaty games. Constantly playing sweats are not fun. Social ranking is designed to create unbalanced matches

Oh yeah. I love waiting between 15 and 30 min to find a game then get matched with the same people from the other side of the planet 5 games in a row. SBMM ruined this game for over half the player base.

I'm not a PvP expert but I think it's two things: 1)Bungie's implementation OF SBMM matched players up with anyone on their skill level, regardless of geographic location. This led to some really lag-filled games in my experience, and in Destiny lag favors the person lagging. 2)you're not always going to get better by playing people on your skill level. If you're a 1 K/D and you're always facing players who are at that same skill level then you're you're only going to get better at playing people at that level. However, if you're able to play against players who are better than you you're able to learn from them.

1 RispondiLag and I'm a solo player who is tired of running into teams of three all using thorn who have no individual gun skill they just team shot the whole time while bungie matches me with thumbless teammates who end going 1 - 14.

2 RisposteWhat if the factor for matchmaking was your gear setup? It would take the most used weapons and the more of those you used the sweatier the match. If I'm using vex mythoclast and a sidearm I don't want to get matched with MIDA shotgunners that will destroy my life and everything I love.

I wouldn't mind SBMM if it didn't cause any lagg. I had games with bladedancer wgere i had to hit simeone 6 times before they died, my bullets were often not registered and my melee's apparently never hit (especually shoulder charge and blink strike)

Every game is a sweaty now. I constantly get matched up with people I know are sweaty. Sometimes sweaty players just want to pubstomp you know.

I don't care who I play. The matches are unplayable because there's no care about the connection quality. You're telling me that I don't match up in skill with anyone in the US? I'm playing kids in Mexico, Australia, and Puerto Rico. That's why I want skill based matchmaking gone.
