Most likely electronic based stuff. We've already seen it fix the lighting in the gameplay from old russia. Maybe it could do some kind of emp or tazer type attack

Edited by gamer_man: 8/9/2013 4:26:22 AMIts like R2D2 and C3PO had a smart ass kid that levitates. And some navi from ledged of Zelda in there somewhere

I want to be able to change it up so that it looks like little Tyrion Lanister flying through the air istead of the mechanical thing.
-
If Ghost makes a few GoT references somewhere within his dialogue, I will be the happiest fanboy on the planet.
-
Its like Cortana, except instead of you pressing the buttons, it presses the buttons.

3 RepliesI think deej said ghosts would be essential to collecting and rediscovering the technology of the old world, and made it sound like rediscovering old tech was a plot point

10 RepliesQuestion: Does everyone have a Ghost? Because from the E3 Gameplay reveal the Hunter didn't seem to have one, because she waited for the Warlock to activate his to as though she couldn't light up what was ahead, which kind of made sense seeing as how they're the Class that have researched the Traveller Tech and whatnot? What do you think?

Edited by omfgmegatron: 8/8/2013 11:35:54 AMHaving my own personal Tyrion Lannister has been a dream for me since I heard his voice during the E3 demo. I don't care if he doesn't do anything special.

Stuff.

4 RepliesHe can fly. That's more than you can do.
-
He can walk through walls, disappear and fly; it's much more unique than the other guys!

What if Ghosts were taken a step further and also served as the chroniclers for your travels which they would then upload to whatever social area of B.net is going to be added when the game comes out (like Waypoint, I guess)? Call it something like Ghostnet and you've got a stat tracker that's not just built onto the game, but built into the game.

To help you through missions

I believe the Ghost will act like Cortana in the way that it will help turn on things or unlock doors and also give you tactical information but wont actually fight in combat.
-
I thought he was our link to the golden age. And that he could turn on pre-fall artifacts etc.
-
3 RepliesOkay so this is just speculation, but MAYBE, he can turn into a light show or a disco ball while he hovers above. Then you and your crew can boogy.
-
1 ReplyGhost will have a laser face that will end up killing your friend SGT Johnson SPOILERS!
-
Laser show for dancing

Besides flashlight and respawn, I believe your ghost can sorta teleport weapons and gear to and from your ship so you can mess with your loadouts while not in combat without having to exit level or hike back to an LZ. Other than that it runs shortthisshitout.exe for the Guardians since none of them took Computer Science III.
-
A hint system for complex situations or while you're in combat and pinned down.

2 RepliesWhat I'm wondering, what role will ghosts play in competitive multiplayer.
-
Did you not see that it activated the lights in the wall? Bungie has said that it will actively interact with the world of Destiny.

I'd guess the Ghost serves the same function as Cortana from the Halo games. An AI partner that does stuff for you and provides snarky commentary on the current situation.
