thorn bounty is impossible
Whose -blam!-ing idea was
This so I can go strangle them, impossible -blam!-ing bounty
Edit: i got a little pissed about
The bounty because I want the thorn so badly, I'm sorry for posting this

2 commentairesIt's not impossible, I've done it three times already. Just pace yourself and quit rushing through it. Use a shotgun in the crucible or a fusion rifle to get the best progress for the void damage. Rocket launchers help a lot.

Its simple really if you cannon do the bounty then you do not deserve The Thorn

I'm not the best pvp player (normally, I go positive), but this just took time (and it improved my pvp skills). All the comments are correct, but you can usually find a void machine gun from Vanguard quartermaster and then choose a void sniper or void fusion rifle for your special. Tbh, I finished mine this morning and have to get a friend to help with Xyor. Find some friends and make a plan, you'll get it in no time. And yeah, control is the way to go, especially the ones on Mars.

It isn't difficult provided you have some skill in The Crucible and a void weapon. I used Atheon's Epilogue and finished the bounty in but a few hours. Good luck!

i am probably THE worst PVP player on destiny and I have done the bounty 4 times. it's possible but its a major headache.

If you're a titan you're a little better off because I believe they have void damage grenades and (possibly) a void damage melee, I'm not really sure, I'm a Hunter. The only weapon I used was a void damage Dammerung. It's just a rare fusion rifle and it took me 2 hours (roughly). Just stick with it. If you're on a team that is getting destroyed, just bail. Bad teammates usually means a bad score for you.

I have friends that are awful at pvp and they did it by using void snipers and the truth. Maybe try a little camping....I mean stationary offense.

Just be paitent and if your haveing a bad day go do some bounties or strikes to get your rythm down. If you have multiple characters use an alt to "warm" up. I know it might sound dumb but it helped me to get a rythm going then switch to the character with the bounty. I got thru it with Praedyths Revenge, a void shotty, light beware and a huge plus was having the Truth. I admit that I "camped" heavy ammo spots and used the Truth A LOT. Hey what ever it takes,right? I have to be honest now that Iam done with the bounty I play a lot more PvP and am getting pretty damn good with a sniper. Just relax and breath trust me bud IF I can do it anyone can. EDIT: One last piece of advice, I used my best primary all the time not dying is critical so if I found myself in a position that meant get the kill without getting points (non void kill) I would do it. I had Atheons Epilogue but just couldn't do enough damage fast enough so I switched to my hand cannon.

It's not impossible. I've done it twice, and so have many others. Look online for a bounty guide, which will tell you the best ways to finish each part. Time consuming? Yes Hard or impossible? No Good Luck!

Atheons epilogue, praedeths revenge, corrective measure and void grenades meant this was done in about 45 mins on the crucible, I've done it 3 times now so all my characters have a thorn each, stick at it and you will soon do it

Just chill. I suck at crucible and I completed this with a bit of time. I recommend control and use a void machine gun. Easy peezy lemon squeezy.

Had the crucible part done in a few hours. Void fusion with a decent charge rate & The Swarm void MG got me through it relatively easily. Played Control normally, didn't camp just played the game. Dismantled fusion rifle as soon as I'd finished it...
