sick of seeing level 31 characters with 274 attack guns in a raid
Never thought I would say this but holy cow! It is way too easy to get into the raids now and the under-levelled weapons/lack of experience can be so frustrating.
Edit: I am talking about level 30 raids here. I would never talk this way about normal mode.
Edit 2: I am trying to be as un-elitist as possible, I will usually solo the nightfall each week and put a post up offering any lower levels who want to be pulled through, no problem, but the level 30 raids are a different animal!

Edit 4: To the guy who is prattling on about getting 1188 kills in a single raid. This means
A. You were killing the endless mobs at the start to grow your e-penis.
B. You repeatedly wiped somewhere like the confluxes with your awful, underpowered weapon. 1188 kills in a single raid is something to be ashamed of.
Edit 5: This is not a discussion about gaming skill, some people are better than others and that's fine, this is a post about laziness, if you take a sub 300 weapon or no experience into a level 30 raid you are a selfish gamer, end of.
Edit 6: Hearing a level 31 say "Okay, so the three who can hold the relic get to the back of the arena, because that's who Atheon teleports." :-/
Edit 7: It is not cool to use The Last Word in a raid (I'm sure we can agree on that, at least)

2 commentairesI know, its so funny to see. When im doing the raid VoG with 30's and 31's on hard mode and they keep dying because they have done raid raid only a couple times. You need to have experienced people at this moment. Level doesnt say anything anymore.

1 commentaireThe problem with destiny player is that most players do not understand how the damage model works. It doesnt matter if you have great weapons like gjallahorn or Suros. They are crappy weapons if they are not maxed out. Maxed weapons are a must for raid.

7 commentairesI'll admit that I have over 1100 kills in a single raid. CE raid lvl 30 thralls. If your bored and have a new gun, I see easy xp for upgrading weapons. Just sayin. Not bashing at all. But even tht many kills didn't take long at all

I like this. Because, I spent time and effort and ( sorry to the group I used as a learning experience) learned the sword run for crota. So that if something happens I can at least say I can run sword .. that's all I do now because no one else I join with can do it apparently ...even learned on titan and warlock so no excuses. But Damn I'm getting tired of joining then inspecting characters with bs like no leveled guns. Or I post experienced only. They join. And some how I have to explain each freaking part to these experienced players. I'm not going to fault you if you say you. Arnt just be honest and shut up when I explain the fights. And for god sake don't go off after I have and die then say what happened. Center pad, triangle. Like today when I got crota half down and I said go hide from ogres. And 3 of you bum rush them. Wtf. I'm never going to kill this damn boss.

1 commentaireI understand that maxing guns is very important but nothing grinds my gears more than someone stating they have done the raid several times. And then they are astonished there's a gatekeeper in each portal.

3 commentairesI ran the VoG on hard the other day and level 30 had The Last Word with 274 attack. So many better options for pve than TLW you can at least max it out...

I just got kicked by a group of a 32, 31's and one 30(I was also on my 30 warlock). We almost had him dead and then the game started lagging hard because of the hosts' burger king internet. We went to orbit, and both the other 30 and me were kicked, since level 30's obviously make your lag more. I'm writing all these names down and adding them to my avoid list so I know who not to play with ever again. This is worse than that 30-29 hate from VoG...

2 commentairesOf I want to bring one of my half leveled fatebringer to the raid, I promise you will not even notice. I have lots of maxed leveled guns...but, fatebringer is better even if not fully leveled. .. And yes I have a fully leveled fatebringer, but I don't like to switch guns u less I have to.

3 commentairesI wouldn't use a weapon under 300 in a hard raid because you don't do enough damage but my Gjallarhorn is the exception because I ain't using an exotic shard to upgrade this one unless it's at xur because it's just a waste of an exotic shard although I am aware that it's easy to get exotic shards just wish xur would have Gjallarhorn for his upgrades maybe next week he will or I'll find a 2.0 one and shard my 1.0 Gjallarhorn maybe!

3 commentairesI just did my first run of VoG today. None of my weapons were maxed. We still made it, and I was a damn effective member of that group. My guns might not be maxed, and I might be in an unfamiliar environment, but I can still support and communicate. Also probably helps that I usually hit the crit area, but regardless, not everyone that doesn't have maxed weapons sucks.

2 commentairesOnce got 1000+ kills in a raid and 81 wipes.... Not fun, however the following week got 200+ kills and 7 wipes, now that was a solid raid team.
