A lot of us were hoping that Destiny would be one of those games that people who cannot afford DLCs could play with no disappointment. We understand that money is important but so is doing the right thing. But now, since bungie has, just like every other game, disappointed us by making the weekly heroic and Nightfall strike available to only those with the Expansion, is pure heartless. The weekly was the quickest way we could get strange coins in order to buy exotics. But now, because of the heartlessness money has brought to bungie, It will be even harder for Non-Expansion players to obtain exotics and catch up with everyone with the expansion in Destiny. I believe, and I know a phew of us do too, that Bungie should bring back the Weekly and Nightfall for all instead of giving it to only DLC players. We all bought the game, and I think since we spent our money and time on this game, I believe we deserve some equality. We are all Guardians, we all love this game, let us stick together and continue loving this game without fear of DLC overtake. No Guardians Left Behind.

1 commentaireIts not even a case of not affording for some guys its not seeing the value of paying £20 for a few missions its daylight robbery

2 commentairesIt's one freaking week. Why should you get to play on a map we payed extra for. Quit crying and wait one damn week.

22 commentairesYou can't afford $20?... The answer is simple. If underage: mow someone's lawn. If of legal working age: get a job.

4 commentairesIf you can't find $20 for the expansion....get a better job with more hours instead of playing video games

You bought destiny and probably have either ps4 or xbone if you can't afford $20 you shouldn't be gaming in General Electric bill is expensive
-
Weekly nightfall and heroic just happen to be the new strike. Your not locked out don't worry. I see your point though.

Modifié par KrotasDanKUSH : 12/9/2014 10:28:06 PMI have a few bones to pick with this one. Video games are easily one of the biggest hobbies in the world, An expensive one too, Like train enthusiasts or magic the gathering enthusiasts, You have pay to actually enjoy it. Sure maybe not everyone has too but don't lie, extra content is always fun (it's just a bummer it has to be paid for) it's also sad to see that companies have become more dominant in practicing bad choices when it comes to extra or cut content. You have chosen not to pay for it, which is fine, but bungie has chosen to prioritize it this week, at least and that just sends the message that they want you to buy the DLC. So right now it looks like you have to hold out a week. And although I paid for it, When I seen the DLC was this weeks night fall and weekly I said "That's really stupid" because honestly it was.
Edit: also seen everyone shaming you an calling you a homeless bum, That's a god damn shame, I see why someone would think bungie and it's community are toxic.
Careful or you will end up like Mel Gibson in braveheart. Scattered across the 4 corners of the bungie office.

Hate to break it to you but Destiny will have more dlcs after this. Trade in your used games to get the dlc

27 commentairesThe nightfall and heroic weeklies are gone for 1 of every 6 weeks now for non DLC users. Still a bad move by Bungie. #separateplaylistsforDLC

Okay I'm with you to an extent. Making the weekly strikes the dlc strike is a marketing strategy on their part, and it's utterly wrong. Locking players out of the dlc is a better way to just make them give up Destiny. It's a slap to the face. However, you have to take into account that it's not going to be the dlc strike every week. BUT that does not excuse the choice they made to pick the dlc strike as the weekly strikes. I can understand they want to sell it, but screwing those who don't have the luxury of throwing cash into dlc for games that are already pricey and add up is definitely the wrong way to do it. I think the dlc strikes should never be made the weekly strikes, because every player needs to be able to earn their strange coins. Just putting the dlc strike in the Playlist is enough.

The only plausible version is that when Bungie moved to an exclusive publishing relationship with Activision something changed, but that requires you to forget that their previous exclusive publishing relationship was with Microsoft.
Bungie should bring back the Weekly and Nightfall for all instead of giving it to only DLC players.
I'm fairly certain next week's Nightfall will be back to a pre-DLC strike and will be open to everyone.

next week and for the following 4 weeks you will have the weekly and nightfall pack. its a rotation, the new strike was just added to the rotation and you do not have that strike. there are 5 other strikes in the rotation.
