The Real Reason (a stupid one) Why 29's Are Shunned Outta 30 Raids!!
Cause you moron 30's are Vex hunting, Or gun collecting! That's pretty much it. And the reason you don't bring in 29's cause you would shard you're pants if a 29 got a Vex Mythoclast before you selfish bastards did! Please tell me i'm wrong. Why else would 30's still need to run vog hard?? Btw i hope your vex's will still be useful in the moon raid!

I'm sad to see that segregation is still alive and well these days! For those of you that a lil slow, vog 26 is garbage! It will not give me my chest piece, so logically i run hard raid for the helmet! And stop with the damage bla-bla-bla. I hold my own just fine! Almost had Atheon 30 beat last week! But keep the hate coming! YES, let the darkness consume you!!

When i finally get to 30, if not 32, and i will! I will NOT be hangin with other 30-holes! I will continue to help my friends & 28's & 29's! My light will bust through the ugly darkness!!

Ok guardians, i'm not asking for a suicide run. Only ask you take one or two 29's with you now & again. That's all. And since some of you missed it in my first edit, YES, i'm fully aware that 29's deal & take less damage!

Thanx again for those of you that sympathies & relate to going though vog time and time again, only to come up short again with no raid gear!

Lmao, just went through vog 26 with both my titans. My first one got boots....... Again and chatterwhite + shards.
My 2nd titan got corrective measure ...... Again and even more shards & chatterwhite!
Note: I would pay real money for my chest piece! Just saying.

Ran h/mode earlier with a group four 30's & one other 29 besides me and got my helmet! And Timebreaker! And was my first run! So thanks again for the support!!

We wanted to understand all the mechanics. And we didn't want to be carried and waste other peoples time. Edit: Why don't you get a bunch of level 29's together and do the hard raid?

We were able to do Atheon with a 29 and a 28 a couple days ago. I was skeptical at first and shocked at the end. Enough normal vog and I guess 28s can hang out too.

Numerous reasons to run the raid on 30...that being said I do not discriminate although I feel there should be half and half 29s and 30s to run a smooth raid

Because 29s do less damage. Also some 29s don't have raid gear. They have faction gear and an exotic to reach 29 so they might have not even done normal raid.

the real reason is that i want to just get it done instead of dealing with lower damage and people dying faster.

I think it's [i]probably [/i]more to do with the fact that level 30s deal a fair percentage of increased damage (or should I say 29's deal less?) which makes the raid harder. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to raid with 29s, but that's the obvious reason.

Agree been 29 for a month have done hard mode 4 times with 29s but still need 2 or 3 30s for relic, iv have had real shit 30s thou keep dying and sometimes thay got no idea what there doing . This rng shit is gotta be changed.

Wahhhh Lv 30's still farm hard for vex xD got vex b4 I even got the head piece xD I stop doing hard because I don't need to do it any more but I will help my friends who needs it mostly 29's so STFU xD Oh I would recommend before doing hard mode you should be able to adapt quickly throughout the either raid be great using the shield, calling out oracles, and surviving if your a lv 29 trying to do hard For first time and BE PATIENCE

One of the best threads ever seen here... U sir made my day... Salute to you :) Today i was running vog on hard... All were 30s except me 29... But nevertheless i was the second best with kill/death... And also the second best with kills overall!!! Im fed up with the -blam!-ing damage dealing/handling calculations of douchebag-thirty's ...u can counteract the most with just skills. My light is a big old bulp burning most of the selfish little tight assssholes of most 30s! End of!!!

I don't really have a prob getting a group on my 29 lock, yes I have 2 other lvl 30 toons and all my weps are maxed but you just gotta try bro makes some friends that are 30 or try to grab a cp from someone

29s do less damage and make it take longer. Plain and simple. It's doable with 29s and I have done it with a bunch of 29s. But I was backpacking them. I don't blame some 30s for being snobs.

If you were 30 that "almost beat" would have simply been "beat" Like it or not if you take two equally skilled players the 30 is way WAY more effective than the lv 29...30% more effective in fact. A less skilled 30 could perform as well as a more skilled 29 due to the damage modifiers. A less skilled 29...well thats just a waste of time.
