Destiny will never die here's why
This started out by expressing my opinion and it's turned into a hate fest, Let me tell u guys something, these are all the games that were supposed to kill Destiny (I have most of them btw)
First up is advanced warfare everyone said "oh no this one will be different give it a chance" well guess what it's a piece of crap the graphics are terrible there are game breaking bugs and the same old 12 year old squeakers.
Second we have sunset overdrive, this was said to kill Destiny as well but it turned out it was also a pile of crap with its mediocre controls and boring gameplay your basically asking yourself for a seizure with this one. Honestly I was bored after one hour.
Third we have Shadow of Mordor which was supposed to kill Destiny but it turned into a mediocre game with a small storyline and 20 missions and all missions would take place in the same old field I got bored of this one as well.
Fourth we have the Master Chief Collection which was supposedly going to quote "put the final nail in the coffin" for Destiny but nope this game could not have been more disappointing, sure halo brought us a revolutionary multiplayer but it just doesn't feel like Halo, the matchmaking doesn't work there is a lot of lag and switching to another sequel was frustrating. The AI was broken at sometimes and it was horrible I would not recommend this to anyone.
Finally we have Assassins Creed Unity this one, oh boy was probably the worst. First of the game isn't even that social the storyline is complete garbage and it's the same old Assassins creed you just jump of rooftops and assassinate the bad guys really nothing new.
Dragon age is next... I'll be watching
I don't think Destiny will ever die the tower is always full and prosperous I think Destiny will love for a long time, thanks for reading!

14 commentairesHonestly i figured it wasn't the games but the time. Personally i just couldn't get into this game without anything in the story to grab my attention...without that it feels like some CoD game in the future... But with how hyped i was over everything the devs said and that failed miserably i'm looking at Dragon Age: Inquisition next...i only have 2 hopes left, Dragon Age and The Witcher 3...if these fail me...i'm off to permanently play decade old games...current gen is failing and it's the gamers who are just going "TAKE MY MONEY AND THANKS FOR THE GAME REGARDLESS OF THE QUALITY AND LET'S NOT CRITICIZE BECAUSE AT LEAST WE GOT SOMETHING...STOP BEING ENTITLED!!!" children. We can see this from just Dragon Age to Dragon age 2...just goes to show that once something gets hyped and popular enough you can ride the train to a cash reward without much effort.

Yeah, I saw the footage for Unity and it just seemed the same but with more character customization than before. Jump from here to there and kill this target.

Destiny doesn't need other games to kill it. The repetitive gameplay and lack of matchmaking is doing a fine job on it's own. Look, even my comment is just hyperbole for effect. Destiny won't die. It has a good core if you accept it for what it is. However, I think even fans accept that it didn't quite live up to expectations, and in the long run, that WILL have an effect on sales of DLC and future games. I have a group of friends who played this game HARD and were in love with it for about 100 hours. Out of 7 of us, 3 are done with all future purchase of anything, and 3 still like it enough to buy in again. One is on the fence. Maybe that will be the average, and maybe that's enough for Activision. Maybe 50% retention is fantastic, maybe it's a disaster. We won't know until this plays out with future sales.

There are never more than a dozen or so players in the tower, or in any zone at any given time. We know approximately how many copies of Destinly were pre-ordered/shipped. We know that a month ago, Bungie or Activision claimed there were 3.2 million players daily. Today it may be down to 10, 000 per day. Or over the 3.2 million they previously claimed. Or anywhere in between. Only those who have access to the server data know for sure, and to a lesser extent those who have access to the statistics for PSN or XB Live. Your post is ridiculous.

1 commentaireNot sure you even played assassins creed unity, because the story is pretty damn good so far. Way better then what destiny had as a story. It may be the same game over and over but so is running the same strike over and over. I like destiny just need a break till the dlc comes out. Its so repetitive not enough content just same bounties and crap. So unity this week despite all its bugs also. Then dragon age next week. But your original statement about destiny failing probably wont happen at least for another year.

Wanna know the reason Destiny won't die? I can't sell mine. lol I won't trade it in for ~$20, and I tried selling it online and to anyone I know for $40 (cheaper than a used copy from any retail store by $15) to no avail. Sure hope this game evolves into something not as hallow. I didn't buy and/or don't plan on buying any of the games on this list with the exception of CoD:AW. My first CoD since MW3 (Blops2 connection was a joke, and I trade that pile of crap in). I'm pretty happy with my purchase, especially since I fixed my connection issues and am now He-Who-One-Shots. lol Only other games I plan on getting anytime soon are Alien (So broke, otherwise I'd have purchased it by now) and Bloodborne (Which they just pushed back AGAIN to March. Fine, but I'd rather The Order get pushed back)

In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and except the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake.

The game has literally only been out a day and a few hours. Unless you have absolutely no life there is no way you've seen everything the game has to offer. 5 commentairesI enjoy Destiny immensely. To all of you people that "hate this game" out there. A. Why do you waste your time posting on a forum about a game you hate? B. If you want more content after you did all the nightfalls and raids for your three level 30's, go get Wildstar. Play a MMO because you have a lot of free time. They have a 40 man raid that hasn't been beaten and it's been out for over 6 months. I play a little more then your average casual player and I understand why it is frustrating because I am close to a wall with content. So that just makes me excited for new content. I am fine with being patient. If I have all of my raids done, I play a different game. Or go out!! This game is pretty damn good. I am excited for the future. Everyone else should be too. Everyone seemed fine with the years and years of Call of Duty's and Halo's. What was the end game to those? Anything? At all? A year later when a new game comes out, can u bring your stats and character over? When you prestige in COD you just have to level up to unlock the same shit again? Anyone here play DCU before playstation network got hacked? I loved that game. There was a lack of content there for me. That was in a time when I gamed a lot more. When PSN came back, I got frustrated because the player base did not recover fast enough for me. As long as I can find a group quick. I will be playing this game. BE HAPPY !!! Side note - The second they buff Thorn I am going to pull Fatebringer.

4 commentairesNo bashing other games here. Maybe destiny has alot of flaws to some maybe a few less to others. But destiny is not going to die because it has done a whole lot right. For instance most have already clocked 300+ hrs. Im only at 125 hrs. What other game are you going to do that on a console? Destiny has done another thing better than i could have imagined. The team work it initiates for everyone and the crazy amount of fun it is to play with others is just great. The vault bonds a team together like nothing i ever played its serious and its fun all the same through the breaks it gives you from enemies like the maze or the long canyon jump you can push your friends off of. Just alot of fun with teamates in every aspect. Lack of content? Come on what isn't repetitive after 100 + hrs. The gameplay and graphics are spot on no other game out their that looks and feels as crisp as destiny. Give it time its only gonna grow for the better and keep getting funner. I dunno how it could be anymore addictive. And all the haters out there you are just as guilty. If you weren't addicted you wouldnt still be on these forms.

13 commentairesI'm no CoD fanboy but saying AW's graphics suck is a direct jab at Destiny. AW easily has the best graphics (maybe MCC cut scenes for H2) on the next gen consoles. Are you blind or just trolling? Haven't played the others other than MCC, and it's fine. If you're bored with Halo than you won't like it. But if you like Halo than it's perfect and delivered much more than it promised (quite the contrary to Destiny) Never heard Shadow of Mordor or Sunset Overdrive were supposed to kill Destiny. I don't know anyone who bought that game, or anyone who hyped it up.
