This started out by expressing my opinion and it's turned into a hate fest, Let me tell u guys something, these are all the games that were supposed to kill Destiny (I have most of them btw)
First up is advanced warfare everyone said "oh no this one will be different give it a chance" well guess what it's a piece of crap the graphics are terrible there are game breaking bugs and the same old 12 year old squeakers.
Second we have sunset overdrive, this was said to kill Destiny as well but it turned out it was also a pile of crap with its mediocre controls and boring gameplay your basically asking yourself for a seizure with this one. Honestly I was bored after one hour.
Third we have Shadow of Mordor which was supposed to kill Destiny but it turned into a mediocre game with a small storyline and 20 missions and all missions would take place in the same old field I got bored of this one as well.
Fourth we have the Master Chief Collection which was supposedly going to quote "put the final nail in the coffin" for Destiny but nope this game could not have been more disappointing, sure halo brought us a revolutionary multiplayer but it just doesn't feel like Halo, the matchmaking doesn't work there is a lot of lag and switching to another sequel was frustrating. The AI was broken at sometimes and it was horrible I would not recommend this to anyone.
Finally we have Assassins Creed Unity this one, oh boy was probably the worst. First of the game isn't even that social the storyline is complete garbage and it's the same old Assassins creed you just jump of rooftops and assassinate the bad guys really nothing new.
Dragon age is next... I'll be watching
I don't think Destiny will ever die the tower is always full and prosperous I think Destiny will love for a long time, thanks for reading!
See you on the battlefield Guardians!!

1 commentaireDestiny will die because the developers will die. This is not a threat; It's a reality of life. Buzzzzzzzzzzzkill.

2 commentairesModifié par paininyourkneck : 11/13/2014 3:35:11 AMIf you read on the back of your destiny case in small print it states that if the games dips below a certain amount of players online which activision deem un acceptable and not worth server time they have authority to completely shut the game down meaning it wont be playable as its obviously an online game.
-
Yeah I felt the same, still give new games a chance, but I seem to still touch base with destiny, despite the grind...everything else feels too linear.

3 commentaires
See you on the battlefield Guardians!!
So it's going to be Battlefield that will kill Destiny?

Just because your bad at a game doesn't mean it sucks.....

Modifié par CobraCommanderX- : 11/13/2014 8:18:42 AMCoD AW sucks plain and simple. People are already taking it back to Gamie Stop and getting their 43 dollars back. It's a camp fest just like ghost. Everyone sits on roof tops with their BAL if they don't do that then they stay at very back of maps and spawn camp. Well the spawns suck anyways. As for MCC so many people are complaining about lag,it takes 20mins to get into a match,343 doesn't have good enough servers. It's old and just a novelty game. Nothing new or interesting. People have already returned copies. Yes Destiny has flaws but it is a fun and new game. It has a lot to offer. Sure for the people who already put in 500hrs ya it's going to get a little boring what game wouldn't. Also AC blows lol it has mass problems. Sure it has good graphics but that's all it has at the moment. It's the same game that the first AC was just prettier.

Dragon's Age will get some of my time. Destiny's death has been foretold as many times as the end of world. And yet they both stand for the moment.

1 commentaireHow does a single player game "kill" another single player game? Go back to your mmos and quit trying to start fanboy wars.
-
1 commentaireYou have confirmed all my assumptions. Thank you sir. I feel Dragon Age will be the most promising out of the bunch. And I did not think MCC would have that many issues. And Sunset Overdrive looked really boring and knew it wouldn't come close. But everything else I believed would happen and did. P.S. Assassin's Creed Unity did have a badass trailer. Almost made me buy it. Then I remembered that trailers are trailers.
-
You said MCC was having issues. Matchmaking is the only thing that's a problem for me but everything else is fine. Me and my friends have been having one hell of a time playing something that actually has a story to it. And the remade halo 2 cutscenes... No words can describe how good they are...Fangasmic? Close, but not enough.
-
Praise it some more when you quit playing.
-
The real reason Destiny will never die is because it respawns after 30 seconds.
-
Im reeeeeeaaalllyyyyy looking forward what will be dragon agve
-
Shut up, meg.

See you starside Guardian ;)

3 commentairesStill have 9 million active players.. That's good enough for me, only couple thousand people bitch about the game/threaten to leave it and only a percent of those idiots actually follow through.. I will prove this point if any destiny haters comment on this post because you may not be online in destiny but you sure are giving the time of day in order to look up updates and comment negatively:. Destiny is the greatest game that is out right now...

1 commentaireYou sound like a spoiled kid who expects games top be perfect.

1 commentaireJust because "Destiny will never die" doesn't mean it shouldn't. Ultima Online is STILL online. Released in 1997, overhead view MMO. Guess what, still has subscribers...isn't technically "dead"...So what. However, if...IF, people stood up against this type of marketing..."Give them a mediocre game (or movie, or whatever), advertise the hell out of it...They'll buy millions of copies...we'll make a killing..." If people demanded more, and chose not to support this business model, things would change. The fact is, people no longer expect much quality for their money. That is why this business model works so well. Make a poor quality product, and sell it at premium prices. That being said, Destiny is worth $70.00, but it's never (in it's present state) going to be worth an extended commitment. It'll die...or as close to a death as any game gets. UO, 17 years and counting...

I'll be doing that thing called playing games. It's where you buy a game, play it few hours and then maybe mix it up and play another game. Then if the game is lone wolf based I'll play that on my own of course. Then play some online on another game with my friends? It's really revolutionary.

2 commentairesI'm gonna try AW and Borderlands the ore sequel but I'm along for destiny forever in the sequel of it! It's sad to see my friends say destiny got boring and they are only lvl.26... they haven't even played up to thirty and barely have any exotic weapons lol.
-
1 commentaireWhile Destiny hasn't lost a ton of players to these, it's turned a lot of the hardcore players, into casual ones.
-
1 commentaireAll I can say I that I'm enjoying Destiny so far. Everything has an end and nothing lasts forever. But as of right now I'm here for the ride.
-
What will (and is) kill destiny, is the lack of content.
-
4 commentairesFirst of all, where the hell are you seeing people saying that Sunset overdrive / Shadow of mordor / Unity will kill Destiny. Just because you saw 1 or 2 comments of someone saying that this game will kill Destiny doesn't mean "everyone" is saying it. You used the word "everyone" alot. You are so quick to say that Destiny is never going to die, but the game only came out 2 months ago. Even thoe Bungie didn't deliver, did you forget how over-hyped this game was? When has a game this hyped ever die so close to launch? Saying "Destiny will never die" 2 months from launch makes no sense at all. And a another thing, we DO NOT currently know the amount of people still playing Destiny. Just because you get a full lobby does not mean nothing at all. I have no idea why you even said that, a tower lobby consist of about 12 players, not the entire -blam!-ing player-base. Advance warfare definitely had an impact on how many people are playing Destiny.
-
Lego Batman 3 is what's going to do it. Oh yeah. Lol. It is fun to play with my son though...

Modifié par Supared : 11/13/2014 1:11:04 AMI'm probably being politically correct here, but destiny will die, most games do eventually. While I may be looking farther into the future than most say, at some point, the player count will drop a lot , more than likely, gradually.
