Destiny will never die here's why
This started out by expressing my opinion and it's turned into a hate fest, Let me tell u guys something, these are all the games that were supposed to kill Destiny (I have most of them btw)
First up is advanced warfare everyone said "oh no this one will be different give it a chance" well guess what it's a piece of crap the graphics are terrible there are game breaking bugs and the same old 12 year old squeakers.
Second we have sunset overdrive, this was said to kill Destiny as well but it turned out it was also a pile of crap with its mediocre controls and boring gameplay your basically asking yourself for a seizure with this one. Honestly I was bored after one hour.
Third we have Shadow of Mordor which was supposed to kill Destiny but it turned into a mediocre game with a small storyline and 20 missions and all missions would take place in the same old field I got bored of this one as well.
Fourth we have the Master Chief Collection which was supposedly going to quote "put the final nail in the coffin" for Destiny but nope this game could not have been more disappointing, sure halo brought us a revolutionary multiplayer but it just doesn't feel like Halo, the matchmaking doesn't work there is a lot of lag and switching to another sequel was frustrating. The AI was broken at sometimes and it was horrible I would not recommend this to anyone.
Finally we have Assassins Creed Unity this one, oh boy was probably the worst. First of the game isn't even that social the storyline is complete garbage and it's the same old Assassins creed you just jump of rooftops and assassinate the bad guys really nothing new.
Dragon age is next... I'll be watching
I don't think Destiny will ever die the tower is always full and prosperous I think Destiny will love for a long time, thanks for reading!

All games have bugs on the first few days of release. MCC bugs should be fixed rather soon. Unity is much better than all the other AC. The climbing up and down is much better and the co-op is extremely fun.

4 commentairesYou people don't understand, and I doubt you ever will. It's not a single game. It's all of these games releasing, being better in aspects that players are looking for, and thus drawing those players away from destiny. Call of duty will take that hardcore FPS fanbase away. The MCC will take all the people who came to destiny looking for more halo, back to halo. Dragon age will take everyone that wanted an actual story and actual RPG elements. What will be left? A core playerbase thinking that they haven't been -blam!-ed over, still thinking they're playing the best game ever made, just like every other game. Eventaully, even you will get tired of the same thing, over and over, yet, at a slower rate because you either play less, or just don't care. Either way, it's on a downhill slope. It has been since it was released. Don't kid yourself.

Seeing as Destiny was released in September, when there were no games released before-hand and no other games being released for another month. So for the first month or two that Destiny was released, it was technically all next gen players had to play that was new. That means every person who is playing Sunset Overdrive, AC: Unity, Advanced Warfare, Shadows of Mordor, Forza Horizon 2, and Halo MCC are people that more than likely STOPPED playing Destiny to play those other games. Meaning Destiny has a smaller player base. And seeing as all of these games pretty much came out at the same time (and there are more to come later in November and December, that means that there are 10~ games that people have to play OVER Destiny. Because I can tell you right now, if I owned all of those games, I damn sure wouldn't be playing a monotonously repetitive piece of shit like Destiny. Go look at DestinyLFG and compare how many people are looking for raiders compared to a month ago. I can tell you this right now: Destiny is ,100%, less relevant now than it was a month ago. Nobody talks about it anymore, nobody invites me to play, none of my friends ask me if I'm still playing it. The only place I can still find people talking about Destiny is on this forum.

Yea, no, ur wrong on all accounts. Destiny is going down like a 2bit hooker. And u say mordor has only 20 missions? Lmao well destiny has 20 missions, that they make u do over and over and over and over and over, not to mention the lack of story. Why do u think they have already announced destiny2? Cause they know that u will buy another crappy destiny game with, im sure, more lack of story and content.

It will die by 2015. This years games were all just ok, Destiny included. Next year however will be much better.

It is so tempting to say "never say never" but I'll pass on saying that. I don't agree with you at all OP. While I respect your opinion and perhaps your positivity as well, you don't have any proof that Destiny will live a long and healthy game life. But then again, I don't have proof that it will die with a whimper. All I have to go on are my friends and my friends would be on Destiny allllllllllllll of the time. They started leaving a little bit at a time, returning to Halo:Reach or Skyrim, and then AW came out and a big chunk left. Now I see a lot of them playing MCC. Maybe two still play Destiny religiously but even they are tiring of the repetitiveness of it all. The towers and patrols are both desolate. The last time I logged in there were maybe four people there when there used to be sixteen. I hope your towers and patrols stay full and prosperous, OP. I really do. I might despise the game but I know you don't and I wouldn't want your joy to be taken from you.

Nah, dragon age won't kill destiny. Totally different genres, so even if it's phenomenal, there's a huge portion of the Destiny playerbase that just isn't interested in fantasy RPGs. That said, it will most likely cause me to cut down on the amount of time I play Destiny, especially since I just hit 30 for my main, and I'm not in a rush to max out my alts ASAP.

1 commentaireIssue is everyone is thinking, the same old thing will be revolutionary. Guess what? Duke Nukem Forever was a huge flop, but I believe Duke Nukem Forever 2 will kill Destiny. Why? No logical evidence to back up that statement, all speculation of comparison of games. It's like saying Candy Crush will kill James Bond. How? By giving him diabetes with hope that a quadruple bypass will fail. Entertaining the masses to a niche group is what's it about. COD and BF should screw each other to create Call of Fields. It's a farm simulator with guns. Learn how to become farmer John who likes to drink and shoot his bottles drunk. That will be a game that you would play if you slap a COD sticker on. These won't kill destiny new players will pick it up old ones will split there time and simple play it less but will still come back to it. People always seem to declare the things baffle I don't know many people who only play one game all the time most play multiple in the discs of a week. Sunset Overdrive is nice change of pace especially after you spent a few hours raiding. I don't care for MCC PvP I just brought it for a nostalgic trip thru the story campaign I play it a few hours a day. But can see the release of Dragoon Age being the 1st time Destiny becomes 2nd fiddle. Massive Bioware and RPG gamer it's been the game top of my wanted list all year.

Sunset overdrive looked like a pile of shit from day one. Shadow of Mordor is to short. i dont know anyone with an xbox who doesn't have every Halo game already. Assassins creed has been shit since the civil war one. Dragon age is Skyrim for idiots.
