proof that the level cap is above 20
since a lot of people seem to already state as a fact that max level is 20 (which it isn't) and are going around saying so everywhere I feel like it need to correct this bit of misinformation.

if you watch that video very carefully specifically and pause at 14/15s you can clearly see that the player running in front is level 33. which debunks all this "level 20" cap sillyness

Yeah it's not 20 go to your fraction bender and look at the Rep thing when you earn Vanguard rep you unlock powerful gear and you need Vanguard marks to be able to buy em so the higher your Vanguard rank is the stronger your gear gets

2 commentairesolder build. may have changed. The motes of light kinda prove the cap is 20 as of right now, but don't worry your level doesn't mean much its equipment xp that really effects things.

2 commentairesI hope you're right but that is a "commercial" of alpha gameplay, they could have lowered it after they recorded that or it could be that the level cap in earth is 20 and once you go to other planets you can level further, like incentive to move to new areas as soon as you get them.

1 commentaireI think that the level cap will be higher. We have only seen one focus for each and that seems to be capped around level 20. What if the other focus caps around level 35 (since it unlocks at level 15)? Who knows....

Mid twenties is the endgame content level. Expect the main story to drop you off somewhere between 19-24 This is why several legendary items sold by vendors appear level 20. It's after these levels that you begin exploring endgame content and looting rare and powerful gear that well exceeds vendor wares.
