I'm getting sick of gay people saying they're gay
I don't give a -blam-! It's so annoying. You don't hear me yelling I'm straight every 2 seconds. I don't hate gay people. I don't even care if anyone is gay. It's just annoying. Nobody cares. Stop telling it to the world. Just be gay and live your life. Nobody has to know

Modifié par Masque of Night : 5/14/2014 10:55:18 PMLast I heard the only reason they flaunted it so much with the parades and everything is because that's their way of working towards rights that they don't feel they have, similarly to other groups that have protested for rights in the past. If they had those, they [i]could[/i] probably just live their life and not be so...flamboyant about it. And in a way, on individual cases, they kind of have to let people know to an extent. In most societies we're expected to be heterosexual and unless you say otherwise, it's usually assumed that you are. I'd imagine that makes it somewhat difficult for gay people to meet unless they have a way of showing that they are what they are in some form or fashion. Honestly I'm not really bothered by any of it myself. And even if someone was acting too explicit about their sexuality to the point it could be considered annoying, I can just tune it out like other behaviors that would aggravate me. That capability makes it much easier to deal with most people. (Sometimes I make longer posts than I realize, just noticed that...)

Like the open gay guy in the NFL? I don't know his name despite hearing it every 5 seconds, like "Oh! He's gay and plays football! What a hero!" No he's not, he's annoying

Maybe they're lonely and hoping that by casually letting people know they're gay, they could find someone to hook up with. It's not like there's some magic way of knowing, and keeping a blue handkerchief in the back of your pants sends a very specific message...

1.) Not all gay people always say they're gay. This is called a "generalization" that you just made. It could be said about Catholics and atheists, too, except for the fact that it's wrong. The loudest people don't represent the majority. 2.) Even if every homosexual person ever said they were homosexual, it's because, to some level, it needs to be said. Of course you don't always have to say you're straight, people naturally assume you are. It's like the default settings on a game. If the game yelled at you because you have to switch it to "Bumper Jumper" each time you played, that's not the player's fault, it's the game's.
