Not sure if any of you are aware, but not too long ago Bungie announced their newest title known as "Destiny".
Now while I'm certain many of you are quite excited for Destiny to be released, one might find it difficult to really put faith in a game that is so inherently flawed and illogical. I know this statement might not sit well with you, and you might say to yourself, "Helveck how can you say such a terrible thing about a game that looks so beautiful and sounds so incredible?" Well, it's quite easy to make such a bold accusation when one decides to take a moment to step back, and analyze one majorly detrimental design flaw within the game itself.
The Traveler.
Bungie designed this enigmatic figure or character to act as a protector of the last city, without giving the appropriate consideration to the logistics of its design... How foolish.
"After the collapse of the Golden Age, we built our last safe city under the protection of the Traveler." - Bungie
So Bungie decided to design one of their LARGEST characters, or figures that appears to be mostly machine that hovers above the LAST safe city on the entire planet? Without giving ANY consideration to the fact that the Traveler's anti-gravity systems that allow it to hover could be damaged or fail, causing the megaton object to come crushing down on the remaining survivors of the human species.
If Bungie's writers had the appropriate amount of experience, why would they not have made it so the humans built their last safe city to the left or right side of the traveler? Would this not appear to be more logical? Not to mention the fear of being crushed by the Traveler, but that constant shade... What about the lack of Vitamin D? This game needs to go back to the drawing board, if Bungie wishes to have any success. This design simply does not make any sense, it's just not practical...
I really hope Bungie takes this into consideration before releasing a broken title.

hmm so here sits Helveck above you all... correction... above us all and yet none of us chose to go to the left or to the right and not comment. being directly under Helveck must have some magical effect, though not everyone seems to be effected the same way. in my opinion, it is US the people below that keep the Helveck hovering above us and even if You ALL decide to leave and get some of that vitamin D, through history he will remain hovering above anti-gravity systems or not...because the Guardians will make sure of that (you know who you are) and as far as how we get some of Helveck power... well i'm not ready to reveal that just yet

Everybody knows that Density is a fundamental principle of physics. That being said, the Traveler is made of a polycarbonate-metaloid which results in it weighing exactly the same Destiny ratio as Mickey Rourke... It keeps surviving, and nobody knows how.

It's to save them from the suns UV.
-
First of all, if they moved the city to the left/right part of the city would be poking out of the travelers shield. And also, the traveler won't crush the city, it uses its magic (for lack of a better term) to hover above the city.

The traveller provides us with Flintstone gummies. Duh

Vitamin D? we can make our own Sun, the name's Solar Flare #SpaceMagicFTW

Okay so think about this.... The human race was so advanced that we spread out though the solar system. Aliens of all different races attacked us and almost whipped us out. The traveler saved us. I'd build my house directly under that sum bitch. To your logic I'd rather die being squished then getting shot a bunch of times.

5 commentairesSo far this game looks to be on par with Aliens Colonial Marine. Totally broke and will be almost unplayable.

Is that canon?
2meta4me
