Stop having ridiculous expectations for Destiny
Most of the community needs to stop expecting too much of Destiny. I've seen ridiculous comments like the map on each planet is going to be 3x bigger than Skyrim's map. I'm sure that there are a lot of other ridiculous comments out there. Feel free to post them.

Each map is actually going to be like a fourth of the map of Skyrim (excluding The City) but there will be multiple maps per planet/moon.

1 commentaireI completely agree with this. Not to say that Destiny won't be good, because it's going to be great. However, I believe people's expectations will turn to disappointment when they play the game and their outlandish fantasies don't come true.

True, this game has been under development for more than five years now so probably not 3x as big as skyrim, but pretty damn humongous.

As excited as I am for this game, I have to agree with you. Hype train is gonna de-rail if it keeps moving this fast. For a game that we know relatively little about, people have already said its game of the year, which is ridiculous. But then again when there's little new information coming out on it, people start to see things where there isn't anything.

Well I am exited for Destiny, and many have their preconception on what it is going to be like. Until Beta comes around, no one but Bungie developers will know what the game will behave. While yes, there are many who are amped about this new IP, remember to step back and think. No game is perfect, Destiny looks good, the team behind it is well reputed and respected, so there is promise that Destiny will indeed be good. Just don't flood the forums with gripes and complaints when you finally get to play and it doesn't meet your astronomical expectations.

Let the community have their own ideas no matter how crazy it may seem, who knows perhaps a Bungie developer will see the comment and incorporate it into the title. Remember the good old days when the saying was "Believe"?
