Surprised i haven't seen a thread on it, but so far this week in Ukraine shit has hit the fan. Here's a summary of the events
>The Ukraine was working on an economic deal with the EU.
>This would, if everything happened properly, lead to Ukraine joining the EU.
>Deal went cold, Ukrainian government ponders trade deals with Russia
>Ukrainian citizens protest
>Protests continue, EU deal is all but withdrawn by EU
>Ukrainian government passes shitty laws making protests illegal
>Ukrainian government makes deals with Russians for economic/political reasons
>Ukrainians continue to protest
>Police crack down on protests, shotguns, etc. Wounded and reported dead from this
>Mass text in kiev around protest area
>Implications in texts are everyone is already found guilty and will be collected for prison time
>Protests become riot, Many clanks were had
>Tire fire between clankers and police
>Molotovs and fighting stops long enough to put out a fire in an innocent bystanders house
>Ukrainian citizens start throwing the road at the police
>Police have been fairly restrained now that international attention is on it
>Ceasefire for neogtiations
>Battle priests hold the line between police and clankers, no clanks were had.
>Tanks are 30 minutes out (30 hours ago)
>Everyone wants peace but no one can agree to the all the terms, all the time
>There was a truce, someone farted wrong.
>BBC puts up small news post about this on 23rd
>Rabbit of revolution seen on Spilno stream
>US state department suspends Ukraine government visas and writes in support of protesters
>Some cops were fought with, some clankers may have been arrested
>Protesters are now clanking outside the Ukranian international convention center with 200 Berkut in there seige style.
>All in the span of roughly 10-11 days
