Here are some things I wish you guys would stop saying: 1: "Omg Bungie abandoned Xbox" -Activision also had a part in the decision to favor Sony, and Xbox will still get Destiny. Remember, Bungie did get somewhat burned by Microsoft. 2: "Playstation is superior! Bungie likes us better!" -No, Sony just paid a butt load of money. 3: "Why no PC?" -Destiny is a ten year project, and the first installment hasn't even come out yet. Be patient, and maybe you will get your wish. 4: "I'm going to use (insert weapon name here)!" -Destiny is going to have lots of guns, so I find it highly unlikely that the majority of the community will wield one of the few we have been shown. 5: "Bungie lied about the release date!" -Again, Activision was part of the decision, too. Also, a spring release was never officially announced. More time just means that Destiny will be more polished. 6: "Why no ship flight? I want ship flight!" -This is only the first installment. Who knows what the future may hold? Whining sure won't change anything. 7 "Destiny is going to suck because_____!" -Have faith in Bungie. A small thing like bloom, exotic limits, or a low level cap won't screw up the entire game. 8: "You're a troll because you like a game that isn't Destiny!" - People have different opinions. Not all CoD players are hateful morons. Just the vast majority of them. 9: "Don't feed the troll!" -Congratulations, you just fed the troll. 10: "This class will be better with that weapon!" -How the hell do you know? That's right, you don't. You're just speculating. Bungie has stated that every class can use every weapon. Two new ones, added March 30: 11: "Which Class?" -I've said before that this didn't belong on the list, but a few things have changed my mind. First of all, I thought the class polls would be a passing phase. Second, it now seems that the foci will make a bigger difference than the class. Third, it is now confirmed that we will be able to have multiple characters, so we can use all the classes. 12: Anything that makes it blatantly obvious that you aren't up to date on all Destiny information but still think you know what you're talking about. I've seen so many people asking questions that have already been officially answered, or being surprised when they see information that is several months old. If someone is asking because they aren't sure, that's fine, but some people act like they are sure of something that contradicts confirmed information. If you're interested in Destiny, it's not that hard to stay up to date. Two new ones as of April 7: 13: "Will beta characters carry over?" - Betas are about testing the game engine and game mechanics, not for getting an early lead. Things you earn in the beta may not even be the same in the release version, so it wouldn't make sense to let people keep something that Bungie removed from the game. 14: "Which game is better?" - This is a Destiny forum, people. No other games matter here. Also, this being a Destiny forum, the results are almost certain to show Destiny as the favorite by a landslide. Top Secret 15: "Destiny should not have Space Narwals." - This one goes without saying. Stop saying these things. They are in no way helpful to the forum discussion and are part of the reason that #Destiny is the butt of every other joke in #Offtopic. Also, refrain from posting Destiny topics on #Gaming or #Offtopic. One other suggestion: With some topics, replace the word "will" with "should," "might," or "would you prefer." That way it's less speculative. Example: "Will Destiny have a forge-like mode?" Instead, say "Should Destiny have a forge-like mode?" or "Would you want Destiny to have a forge-like mode?" I have slightly altered the original post after reading some of the comments. I realize that calling you "stupid" and "morons" might have caused me to sound condescending.
