Rewatching the vidoc and stopping at the menu i noticed that the party was 3/6 so does that mean squads of 6 combine in bigger raid groups, or would you be forced to find a way to communicate between other 6 man teams. Or is this simply the early party size? i know its early but it got me a little worried.

1 commentaireNot going to lie, this is keeping me up at night. Been playing Halo with the same 8 guys for 10 years now, we'll have trouble moving to Destiny if it's built around a party size of 6.

Imagine your squad at six but there are multiple squads in the living world. We just received an update on our phones that tonight there will be a massive raid against the last City. Thousands of us flock back to the walls to prepare for attack in our 6 man units and we see the enemy charge through the surrounding vegitation. We see the rambos jump into the fray. The hunters with thier advantage points taking down Cabals and Fallen. Ships flying over head dropping all kinds of ordances on our enemies. We make it through and now connect to our fellow guardians on what just happened. If that isnt true social/co-op game play then what is? Those are the momments that I hope Bungie is talking about.

8 commentairesFrom what we know. 6 player squads is what we'll have. If that has you worried, I ask why? You want 10-15 players in your squad doing raids? What's the point? What if there isn't enough loot to go around? What if the enemies scale to how many players you have? What if having 15 players doesn't allow for what Bungie is trying to do, which is pair you up with random strangers in the world for unique stories? If I could have a squad of 15, that would mean I should be able to run into another squad of 15, that's 30 players. Not saying that Bungie can't do it, but I think that won't happen. I think there will be a very minimal amount of players in the same 'shared world'. Like, 18 max.

4 commentairesLol ok just to be clear. I like the six man squad. I was just wondering if we would be able to fight alongside other squads in a way.

Modifié par Saxoclone : 2/28/2013 4:46:43 AMA 6 person squad seems like an appropriate size for typical coop situations. I expect for large-scale raids or the faction wars that squads will be combined into larger forces. Anything bigger and you get into MAG-like situations- which I don't think is necessarily bad, but I don't think it fits with Destiny.

1 commentaire6 sounds perfect.

Imgood with a six man squad its reasonable.Better than four.

4 commentairesAnything more than 6 man squads for communication would be annoying. I'd imagine that each squad will have a squad leader, and if your squad and another squad are interacting the squad leaders would communicate with each other by toggling through 'squad chat' and 'command chat'. A group of 36 people would have six squad leaders communicating.

3 commentairesProbably just 6 man squads
