I understand that some of you may have been underwhelmed or were expecting much more from the ViDoc, but you got to keep in mind that this is only a reveal of the game and Bungie probably hasn't got much to show yet. We just have to be patient for more info, calm down! :]
I'm honestly just happy to finally have Destiny revealed and officially announced., and I bet Bungie is too.

Modifié par Spartan Ken 15 : 2/20/2013 7:54:40 PMThe vidoc was nice but it was more of a tease. I think what Bungie should of done is look at what we know and try and work around it to show us something new. We already knew about the traveler, Earth's last city, and the general idea of the plot. The trailer didn't really show anything that was like "wow", we saw gameplay but it was just walking. I would really like to see some combat, space travel, and especially interactions among players in-game. I also think the idea to have a trailer in the vidoc is odd. I want to see the trailer but the vidoc kind of interrupts it and vice-verca. I thought how it was made was very confusing. Some people speculate Bungie had more and pulled it at the last second and I believe that. Also a lot of the content was concept art and video ripped from O Brave New World. So yeah, I think what Bungie is (hopefully) going to do is slowly post a bunch of info every week/weeks, and it will not matter what convention is going on.

1 commentaireWhy would we be dissapointed?
-
2 commentairesHonestly, the only people that could be "disappointed" at this point are cynical assholes. And that's coming from a cynical asshole. Bungie made a beautiful ViDoc that lured you in and kept you watching. I'm excited to see what follows.
-
12 commentairesA few screens, concept art, and seconds of gameplay. After this long? Oh, and they coupled it with the "NO PC RELEASE" thing. So yeah, this has all been a major letdown for those of us hoping for a truly next-gen title. All we got was more typical Bungie bullshit, indicating that they have not had a major internal shift for the better. They're still the same aloof, elitist, treat-the-fans-like-crap Bungie they turned into post Halo 3.
-
Thought Bungie was fixin to pull a fast one and talk bout vision and the future and concept art world buildin' bull. They did all that, but hey they showed gameplay footage at least.
-
I just think they're being a bunch of impatient kids complaining that they're isn't enough on their plate. All in good time, i say.
-
1 commentaireWhy are people disappointed? It was a nice ViDoc.
-
6 commentairesAfter the massive s***storm that was Reach, I'm apprehensive about buying in to Destiny. I'll have to see how this plays out.
-
2 commentairesI would like to point out to those who think we should see more with how much development time there has been: There has to be a long thought out period where it is simply ideas being thrown around. And we all know Bungie is very thorough about this. Then, a whole new graphics engine with many new amazing features had to be written. Finally, the ideas were able to be put into play. Of course it was and will take awhile, and they weren't going to release anything until they had concrete aspects of the game they knew they would keep. That could help explain why we see so little gameplay.
-
1 commentaireto be honest, we kinda underwhelmed ourselves by indulging in leaks and rumours.
-
Was it really a #reveal? Or more of a #tease?
-
2 commentairesI am just glad it's a shooter. I like the idea of magic also. I am most excited about the fact that it is supposed to be scary. Halo CE had that scare/ mysterious factor when the flood was first introduced. It was so creepy! I want that feeling back.
-
Honestly i won't say i'm entirely disapointed, but i was expecting a lil bit more than just a vidoc. Actually, i'm bored with the sensationalism of these kind of video, it's like a sort of self-congratulation with great words like "we are doing something bigger than anything else !" or "it's mindblowing, well see if it's bigger than our past experience!" i don't believe in these stupidity anymore... You can correct me, but i suppose Halo still have an impact in Bungie's culture no ? i hope Destiny won't be too much reminescent of Halo universe and Star wars, cause it's seem they're recycling many aesthetic and atmosphere from them. I don't know if it's a good basis to start something new we'll see... But despite all of this, i can't wait to see more about this game, i hope it won't be a disappointment...
-
Agreed. Do not be Disappoint.
-
I agree with everything you've said. This is part of Bungie's process - they tease a little bit at a time. Throughout this year things are only going to continue to get better and more exciting and now I can't wait even more. Woooo! Long Live the Seventh Column!
-
I'm only disappointed because I want to see more.
-
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed, I mean all we got was concept art (which we've seen plenty of already) and a few seconds of gameplay. Maybe we just over hyped it.
-
1 commentaireMy only compliant at this point was i wanted more music from Marty.I mean they said they have alot of music written for it...
-
The only thing I really wan'ted to know was if it was a Fps, and it is.

There will always be disgruntled internet jockeys, trolls, ect. Their fervor is empty and meaningless to everyone but them. There's no need to try to call them out because they'll just form up like a Voltron of hate and consolidate their angst, thereby fueling the confirmation bias that becomes all the justification they need to feel their opinions have more merit than the opinions from people who are looking forward to the game.
