Yea, I absolutely hate leaving matches in any game, period, but I recently found out that if you're going to lose really bad anyway, you lose less points by just leaving the match. You'll eventually get a 30min suspension, but that suspension will give you time to cool down and not go into another comp match with a bad mental. Besides that, the quitter protection is such a narrow window that it rarely actually comes up for me when people quit at the start of a match. Last time I got protection from an early quitter was episode Revenant.
