Verify SMS error
I am receiving an error when trying to do the verification, could you help me, so I can do it and play with my friends. An unexpected error has occurred on Bungie servers while trying to grab Destiny information. (1618)

All new and existing players who did not already verify their SMS have been completely locked out of playing online Destiny 2 content for over a month now. They claim they are "working on the issue" but have provided no timelines and do not intend to create any workarounds in the meantime.
