Are cheaters really so blatant? Or is something else going on?
just jumped into some crucible. Im not the best nor am I the worst. Im pretty willing to admit when I choke or missplay, but wth is up with crucible.
Is it just a massive imbalance in certain weapons, Network issues on my end, my stuffs pretty decent, or blatant cheating?
Had a hunter drop down no shiel in front of me, Popped a couple decent shots into them then they turn around and utterly dumpster me with martlet. Not even strafing or crouching. Just standing right in front of me, i didn't even have time to get a third shot off.
Then another match had a hunter with Truth ammo after the first capture and never ran out the entire match.

You’ll make these claims in posts like this but never back them up with any sort of video.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's cheating. We know for a fact that cheaters are everywhere including PvE. Now with news of the PS5 bootrom keys being leaked, hard cheats aren't far away from console lobbies as the system will now be cracked or jailbroken and hackers will have the ability to install cheats just like PC. It's only going to get worse on Bungie's hybrid P2P network.

Played Saturday night and noticed things as well. Unkillable players, people earning Olympic gold medals tumbling all over the place and never missing. Range issues. Teleporting. One guy with heavy and I kill him and then I see him 30 seconds later with heavy again. And then another time later on. People never missing, using weapons not suited for the range they were killing me at and never missing a crit. Sorry but a SMG does not win a duel at 100 yards against a pulse or scout. This one particular guy used an SMG the whole match and was slaughtering everyone. Every single match was lopsided. 1 team loaded and the other weak af. Meanwhile I can’t even break a shield before I’m dead. Out of 3 matches I quit 2 and turned the game off after the 3rd. 2 gig fiber on my end.

1 commentairePopulation is so low that we are forced to match make with players further away than normal. Yes, there are cheaters in the game but I think a lot of the issues is lag.

2 commentairesPersonally in destiny 2, for my years of playing I have never encountered a cheater. Unless they are just using smth that’s really under the radar. I’ve never seen aimbot or flying people shooting infinite rounds. I’ve never once encountered it. It sounds halarious but really I’ve never found one.
