12 commentairesWe open the store at 8 every day and I take a break at around 9 and buy breakfast from there (usually just a can of coffee and a pastry from the bakery), but on Sundays we open at 11 so if I take my break before then I’ll go to Maccy D’s for a real coffee and maybe a McMuffin, and I’ll take it back to work and eat it in our cafeteria. We have a Popeyes literally next door I occasionally go to as well. I only work every other Sunday though so that’s only once a fortnight I eat fast food, it’s too expensive to eat all the time. The only fast food I get delivered is Dominoes, and I might have one every couple of months, probably not even that much.

4 commentairesI mostly cook. When I do eat out, it's either pick up and take home a) pizza, b) shawarma, c) Caribbean spicy pork, rice and beans, (veggies from home) or d) spicy pasta and a salad for a real treat. If the weather's nice, I'll eat at a park as a preference. Never the pasta, though. If the weather's bad or if it's wasp season, then I'll eat at home inside.

By myself: Save it till I'm home. With friends/family: I'm eating inside, unironically I have a ton of positive memories inside fast food places just chilling with friends and family.

My living conditions are quite cramped so food at home is difficult and any reason to get out of the house is a thing I will happily ride my bicycle a mile or two (as I don't drive or have a car) to get food and make a day of it... sit in is preferred just to not be at the house and enjoy everything as fresh as possible I only eat once a day usually so it's perfect unless the weather is bad...

I'm a pedestrian by choice because driving sucks, so definitely no drive thru. In the rare case I do get fast food, I pick it up, and then usually go home after, eating while I walk. If the weather's particularly bad, I'll sit in and eat it there. However, I don't usually go for fast food. It just gets quite expensive. $6-$10 for a single meal? As someone who can buy a week's worth of food for $40, that's a bit much. That said, if there was a Wendy's nearby, I'd probably go a lot more. At Wendy's, I could get fries and a baked potato, but most anywhere else I can only get fries. Instead, I've gotten into the habit of keeping a bag of chips at home instead. Similar taste, and any time I get the craving for some fries I just tell myself "I got that bag of chips at home", and that's good enough for me. Still go every now and then, but it's very rare.

Modifié par Speaker : 1/7/2026 7:14:15 PMIf I'm getting fast food its because I'm on the road, going somewhere and cant afford to stop long. Drive thru, nuggies, borger, chow on the road. I am quite skilled at eating while driving... a very bad habit to have. I also dont eat fast food anymore due to it being very unhealthy, i still grab McDicks occasionally, maybe once a month... maybe...
