For playing Destiny 2, it is not the device that can cause a ban, it is the operating system. Steam Deck for example can be used to play Destiny 2 as long as you are playing on Windows, using SteamOS will cause a ban. Same with any other device. As long as you are playing the game from an approved version of Windows (and following the other rules of course) the device itself is not relevant.

Thank you, The specifications say its running Windows 11, but when I go to install it gives me a warning saying that its not supported and may result in a ban. I believe its Windows 11 with the Steam OS running on top of that. With that being said, is that still bannable because the Steam OS is the primary OS?

That would be an unconventional installation method so couldn't really say much but I personally wouldn't trust anything but an actual install of only windows as the primary os
