I wish there was a dedicated option to report or detect xims

7 commentairesWrong, past year alone Ive gotten 4-5 messages on game boot up “Thank you for your report we have taken action etc etc bla bla” Doesn’t happen alot, and yeah some players r extremely sus in pvp and sadly there is no way for you to know if theyre just really really good or abusing hardware. Hard cheats is easy to tell. I know my reports at that time weren’t vs hard cheaters aka aimbots or dudes flying around shooting 100 heavy shots per second. They were against sus players. Keep reporting those *bleep*’s

I just got a <thanks for reporting> last week.. but that one was blatantly insane.. invincible flying through walls on Cirrus unlimited ammo... the other ones you just have to hope enough people reported (or you may be mistaken)... I actually report more for balancing's sake at the very least if I am wrong. -
Considering this forums definition of a cheater is “anyone who is better than me”, I would hope they don’t take action on the reporting feature. Unless you’re on pc lobbies, the odds are finding a real cheater are almost none. A bit more common in comp or quick play but still not even a once a week issue.

1 commentaireit does something but I have gotten way less messages about Bungie taking action ever since they laid off a good portion of their security team. Unsurprising, there are now apparently even more cheaters in the game. One thing that annoys me is the way I get pulled out of the report screen up to 5 times between rounds. It's almost like they want to discourage the report.
-
I have reported many cheaters on PC as of late and they indeed have been banned, spam that report button like there is no tomorrow. Guaranteed cheaters will be banned, hacks, network manipulation, it's all visible on bungies end.
-
3 commentairesI’ve only gotten one ban confirmation. So it does need to be more aggressive. This wasn’t even for cheating. It was for aggressive slurs and insults.
-
The reporting system would perhaps work better if there weren't people who label every second or third player as a cheater.
-
1 commentaireOr maybe bungie doesn’t look at a person with a single report from a single person. People on the game have no idea who is and who isn’t cheating, unless they are flying around with infinite ammo.

3 commentairesModifié par Stari : 11/13/2024 11:54:43 AMThe biggest reason Bungie doesn't ban so many players is because of Destiny 2 not having dedicated servers. Now Bungie knows that players have some kind of connection advantage almost every match. So almost every match there's someone (or more) being an undestroyable God. This player thinks how good he is, but the enemy is frustrated, because he's not taking normal damage and he appears just too late on their screens. He's being shot by the whole team, but he somehow manages to kill the whole team. So in these cases those "Gods" are often being reported, even if they didn't cheat. This happens to most players, sometimes. We all have those "good" matches. That's why I think that this game is basically a Gambling Machine. We are always hoping for that "good" match.

It doesn't do anything unfortunately, and this week were forced to play 10+ crucible matches to get that 300k xp, they should add the option to play vanguard or Gambit, i love crucible almost 300k kills, but at the moment is a cesspool and it's no fun.
-
That option is there just to make you feel they will do anything about it. Don't waste your time.
-
If it doesn't affect their pockets' negativity, it doesn't matter.... Sad 😔
-
They seem to all be playing Class Clash right now. Can't seem to find one match where I'm not getting my -blam!- handed to me.
-
lol for sure it dsnt do anything... if it would work D2 would stay now on 15k daily peak
-
They should add an option to tickle people instead ngl
-
Yes Added in my friendlist a cheater i faced when the HC was the trials weapon a few weeks ago. (Like real cheater with infinite super) He was still playing yesterday and has 60 flawless since i added him. I guess the game cant even detect when a player litteraly spawns with his super at round 1. So i doubt it can even detect reports from players.

Modifié par Black-Star_32 : 11/13/2024 3:14:25 PMThey should create a vote to kick option for cheaters by the opposing team. I know what people are thinking, it will be abused, but here is how it would work. The player being kicked would receive an automatic win and simply be removed from the game, then an auto generated report sent to bungie. This way it’s a win win for both parties, the other team doesn’t have to deal with the supposed cheater, and the supposed cheaters still gets rewarded for game progress. So in a game mode like comp or trials, it doesn’t interfere with their progress, they are simply removed from the game for suspected cheating. And to add, if it happens three times in a row, they get a 24 hour ban. Skilled players might get kicked once by accident maybe twice, but actual cheaters will suffer the consequences.

Modifié par ODSTrooper : 11/13/2024 4:25:21 AMIt worked for me like three weeks ago (I got a message that action was taken) when one player started to throw a tantrum in team chat during a trial game we were losing, and then afterwards had proceeded to message me a bunch of insults for the next 10 minutes. I did report a cheater another time, but I didn't hear anything back from this report though, but no doubt multiple people in the match had reported him.

Fk this company dude they are absolute scumbags

1 commentaireReporting does work, on occasion. It's probably gotta be pretty blatant and easily spotted tho.

1 commentaireIt doesn't, but it never really did, so what's new.
