3 commentairesTrials is endgame and a single mode out of many Crucible offerings, it’s not surprising that it gets a small number of players. The fact that Gambit, a highly accessible standard mode, has comparable numbers is very disturbing. It’d be like saying off Raids and Dungeons for strikes and patrol 😭😭😭😭

2 commentairesNOOOOOOOOO! It's literally the only fun Ritual! What the -blam!-?
-
Please don't remove gambit from the ritual loot bungie. I love gambit and removing the loot changes each episode would ruin it more
-
1 commentaireWhat do you mean ritual loop, like drifter won't have a reward track anymore? I actually like gambit, fun with other people
-
Well one is a ritual activity and the other is an endgame pvp mode. It's like comparing the Vanguard playlist to Raids.
-
2 commentaires***Incase you didnt know, gambit is being removed from the ritual loop later this year because in bungies words 'it doesnt get enough player interaction *** Salt the earth enough and nothing will grow. Bungie has put nothing into Gambit and still expectsed to see gains from it. It was, for many PVE players, the only way to complete some of the PVP requirements without having to play Crucible. It was the only middle ground.

That’s a shame. While I HATE being forced to invade in a HUGE percentage of my games due to cowardly teammates, I liked gambit. I’ve got the dredgen title every season, and want to get both a pvp and pve rolls of all the “enhanceable,” gambit weapons. Might not get the chance now… I spent 99 engrams on hush, and STILL did NOT get either roll…

Modifié par C-a-I-l-u-m : 7/30/2024 9:48:28 AMI don’t know single person who plays gambit, if they told me they played gambit I’d have to ask WHY??
-
3 commentairesGambit is the only thing I play these days, if they remove it I'll just stop playing Destiny 2.....
-
If Gambit “doesn’t get enough player interaction”, it’s their own fault. Do something…Personally, I love Gambit and play it regularly with others that feel the same way.

2 commentairesI think trials will go in year 11 (frontiers) I can see this as an opportunity for saint to travel off with osiris to seek 'new frontiers', as per an aspiration of theirs (earlier cut scene). Nothing is being mentioned right now because they don't want to trials fans to abandon ship just yet, or I'm just wrong!! This is different to gambit, in that I think they have confidence that players will hang around if gambit's there or not.

Source. YouTubers blowing up a potential leak does not count. If a dev doesn't say it, it's not happening.
-
4 commentairesGambit is sudo PVP and in some cases out right PVP. Many of us refuse to play PVP in ANY form. Remove PVP from Gmabit and make it about team skill in accomplishing the goal of killing the boss, then see what player numbers are!
-
An do you have a link from Bungie stating this?
-
Modifié par Salty-47 : 7/29/2024 10:02:11 PMSo when did bungie say they were going to remove it. Nothing I've seen from bungie has said anything about that. The only thing I've seen regarding it was the video you linked to someone else about leaks, and this is like the 3rd leak video that youtuber has posted and it seems to be different things that are changing each time but at the same time as what the previous leaks. A vast majority of leaks are fake or just rumors and stay that way until bungie either confirms them or not. Also, when are people going to stop with the player count thing. Half the player counts aren't accurate due to not being able to track console players, or you get the people who think tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands is a bad thing for a 7 year old game.

Kind of a weird comparison and not exactly the gotcha you think if you have to compare one of many sub-Playlist's (Especially one that only appears once a week), to a standalone Gamemode. Since Trials is just a Playlist under a main Gamemode, then wouldn't Crucible vs Gambit would've been more appropriate? Since that would be Gamemode vs Gamemode then...
-
2 commentairesDunno why people think gambit is dying because it's quicker to get into that than the ranked Crucible matches. Or maybe that's just my experience.
-
1 commentaireFake news, Karen.
-
2 commentairesWhere did Bungie say this?

5 commentairesWhere are you getting this info from that gambit is being removed?

1 commentaireThats hilarious. 60k is still alot of players What you simple minds don’t get is the trials rewards offer absolutely nothing new. The summoner, again? Or any of the other guns? Im a terrible trials player and only play it for the rewards. Armor transmogs, new guns. I have all godrolls. Of regular trials guns. Except for the void smg, which I dont rly need because its more of a controller smg and got an old better Shayuras. Got 10 different Aishas godrolls and a zen moment desperado adept. Like why tf would I play trials? Because its so fun? I like 6’s alot more. More chaos. And right at the time when the game is literally the most dry it can be here come the number posters See! SEE! The game is DYING , PEOPLE!!!!
-
Trials isnt a ritual activity, its a gamemode in crucible.
-
1 commentaireNo idea if this is true or not. When I last played Gambit, matchmaking times were fine and each match had different players. As long as matchmaking is quick,I’m fine with two dozen other Gambit players.
-
Because trials bring small pew-pew to put money on twitch, streamers, and professional service providers who all create, play and pay for multiple accounts, while no one pays for gambit.
