FFS. Back to back to back to back lobbies of people aim botting, lag switching, etc. And in game reporting never seems to do anything. Bungie needs to switch to banning IP addresses rather than accounts. Going against people with brand new accounts and no trials report, or against people that last season were like a 0.5kd and are now 4.0kd. Like there's no way. What is the point of having a competitive pvp mode when you allow cheating?

5 commentairesIf you have the option, play on console. No cheaters there.

I wonder how many reports they get in a day. And do they even look into people who haven’t been reported more than a certain number of times? I’ve played with people -blam!- almost everyone who shoots them, so the system probably gets bloated.
-
3 commentairesSo you mean to say that people started cheating in this season only? Because they were 0.5 kd last season.

-
1 commentaireBungie: No, because Cheaters add to the player count too!
-
Bungie just wiped out their security sector so can’t see it improving
-
Bungie board members own % of paid carry services The worst the matchmaking the more people use the service $$$$

6 commentairesI checked some of your recent games, and your statements aren't checking out. Just because someone beats you doesn't mean they are cheating. You barely play Trials, so you are probably playing other gamemodes that protect you from good players due to SBMM. It also means you most likely don't understand the gamemode and how to do well in it, which comes with playtime/experience. Are there cheaters in this game? Yes. Are you running into them as often as you think? Not even close.
-
2 commentairesRemember, just because they are better than you, doesn't mean they are cheating.
-
2 commentairesConsidering the entire IT security / anti-cheat department was included in the recent layoffs.. No.
-
4 commentairesYou are just bad in PvP accept that. To act like you are matching soooo much cheaters is obviously a lie. I am not the first who checked your matches and telling you that it is just a you problem.
-
30 commentairesI'm sorry, you're a 0.5 so everyone will feel like a cheater for you! I mean seriously how are you complaining about cheaters when you're not even average?? You need to calm down
-
Can they? Yes Will they?? Hell no
-
Just keep buying Silver. I'm sure they'll fix it eventually!
-
Short answer: no. Long answer: hell no.
-
That’s what Trials has always been, a nest for cheaters. Anyone going flawless these days who ISN’T cheating is nothing short of a miracle.

-
They can't catch them, especially the input cheaters. I actually hope they break the game so it forces Bungie to spend money on real anti-cheat software
-
Currently in a lobby where my matchmaking is never ending as my opponents are holding the lobby hostage in trials to avoid actually playing the game. These guys are just waiting for us to leave so hey can get a free win

Modifié par Dragongodmod : 11/12/2023 4:09:07 PMAlso don't get why I get a message saying I left a match when I've been flying in for 30min and there's no one in the match besides me. Just had a match where I was getting 2 tapped by Unending Tempest across Javelin 4 (the long outside area). Reports will do nothing unless you yourself are allowed to cheat.
-
Not really. It's been worse. But the security team took a heavy hit from the layoffs. So expect more cheaters now I fear.

Also identity theft is not just limited to a person identity, but IP address as well, hackers are crafty creatures, it’s why companies get away with doing some shady crap in order to catch a hacker and get them arrested in the act. So no IP banning is not the right choice, it was attempted, and that’s when some of us people discovered IP masking, unless you want someone to go ahead still your IP and use it to access your sensitive data, steal your bank info, personal government documentation, to portray you and commit crimes. All possible, which is why a lot of gaming companies with multiplayer use some sort of IP masking to hide your IP, although even that is not successful enough. The short of it is; hackers will find a way, no matter how safe your tech is, hackers are clever, they are real tech wizards.

Surprisingly not.

Bungie: At the rate the playerbase is leaving at, we need all the numbers we can get.

This is in Regular Control just today. I'm not a good player nor do I aspire to be a pro, but when this happens one has to wonder. The last time I remember this sort of thing happened was when Black Scorpion 4SR was a killer and a half, about when Shadowkeep was released. They've become more prevalent in the last week IMO. Now I've noticed that one tap with ACE drops 100 Resilience shields & health to near zero....this is from a fresh re-spawned player. No damage buff. Also one-tapped Firefly from Polaris Lance and cross-mapped with Gnawing Hunger of all things. There seems to be a new type od aimbot/rapid fire/damage multiplier about. IDK, but all too often the TTK from the opposition seems to get reduced more and more. I really feel for the Guardians going into Competitive hoping for a great time, I'm only casual (and half blind BTW) but things are getting madly out of hand, and quickly. Guess it's time to retire from having fun doing D2 loadouts and move to something else.
