That's untrue.. sbmm imo killed playing pvp with friends ( which killed pvp for me ) bungie can't match solo players based on the internal numbers they use to put you in a skill bracket, never mind three or four players of varying skill in the same fireteam.

It actively discourages playing with friends who aren't roughly the same skill level.

We do not hide our stats like some ppl who are afraid of statistics. Now for your second point, are you an idiot (rhetorical question i know the answer). Tmk MM either takes into account the highest skill player or the team aggregate skill. If you could invalidate sbmm merely by making someone host we would be hearing no end if it. Bungie's Sbmm does not work in a fireteam it matches one player usually the best player.. often my friends don't want to play in a group because they're in a different sbmm bracket
