Xbox to PC Cross-Save User Mistake
Hello, I recently tried to setup cross-save from my MS/Xbox Account to my Steam account. Somehow I managed to authenticate the wrong Steam account at which point I was locked out of my characters on both MS/Xbox and Steam. I noticed that if I started the process to de-authenticate my steam account my characters would reappear on my MS/Xbox account. I really didn't want to have to wait 90 days to re-authenticate, but I didn't have a choice so I figured I could at least use the Xbox App launcher for Destiny for the 90 days until I could re-authenticate, but finally noticed I no longer have access to all the licenses I once did on my MS/Xbox account. So do I have to wait the remaining 86 days to have access to my licenses again? This seems ridiculous considering I have also Pre-ordered Lightfall and now will not have access to it at launch. In addition, I had licenses for all other available content (Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, 30th Anniv., Witch Queen, Forsaken) Somebody please Help.
Edit: It seems I still have access to the licenses when I login on my Xbox. Do the licenses really not carry over from Xbox to PC despite the accounts being the same?
Edit: So I have access to the licenses on my Xbox, but not PC. However, I can log-in on my Xbox and make crafting changes, acquire weapons, etc. from content that will then carry over to PC, but I can't make those changes or access that same content on PC. I feel like I am missing something like a small download on the Xbox App that gives me access to the Licenses?

Xbox console licenses will only work on console, and the Xbox for PC licenses will only work for that specific PC platform.

2 commentairesAs someone who did something similar, I've been told multiple times by Mods what is essentially 🤷♂️. I bought two digital deluxe lightfall for me and my wife and I won't even be able to play until April. For a massive company they sure don't want to have any possible way to help loyal customers. They treat everyone the same regardless of tenure and how much money you've handed to them.

Modifié par robert734625 : 1/10/2023 1:03:14 AMThere are 2 mandtory 90 day wait periods. #1 If you disable cross save for any reason you must wait 90 days to enable it again. #2 If you buy silver you must wait 90 days in order to disable cross save function. Nothing can be done to shorten either of them.
