Stasis needs a buff
I understand the reputation Stasis has, I hated it for the longest time when it first came out, but now it can’t compete with the new 3.0 light subclasses. I like to use Stasis on my warlock with Vesper Radius (its not the best but its fun and get the job done) and it PvE it handles okay, although Stasis feels weaker than its light counterparts. In PvP however, thats where Stasis show’s its scars. Freezing an opponent doesn’t last long enough, projectiles go through opponents, or enemies pass through a frostpulse only freezes them half the time. Titan barricades have better stopping power than most parts of Stasis. It needs a slight buff and maybe some reworking

After arc 3.0 blows everything out of the water we will have come full circle and maybe then Stasis could be adjusted. I'd expect a new New subclass come lightfall

I'd say Titan super needs a buff, but they all need a new super. I was pretty disappointed with how boring Winter's Wrath plays. It's strong, but it is lacking in style and flashiness.

Just roll back that renewal grasp nerf and I’d be stoked. I was on the late freight with that build. Ran it the week before Bungie nerfed them and damn If that wasn’t fun as hell to play.

Disagree. After arc releases, they need to nerf all this trash in PvP. Ability spam has been the meta for far to long.

Yes compared to light 3.0 builds its not as powerful.

Warlock and hunter stasis are the strongest of the stasis subclass for both pvp/pve, Stasis Titan in pve in pvp is kinda a hit or miss.

1 commentaireMy dude warlock stasis is the strongest pve class in the game ☠️☠️☠️ Never mind the lethality of the titans crystal spam in pve or hunter synergy with renewal and it’s resist stacking. The stasis turrets need a nerf if anything, they literally trivialise content.

The only thing stasis warlocks need is an improved aoe or tracking for the melee. Thats really it, the grenades and the overall aspects and fragments are viable and balanced. Stasis is where it needs to be for warlocks, even hunters are still viable. Behemoth I would say is the only useless stasis class, I feel bungie can buff the stasis super animation since behemoth no linger has an absurd amount of armor and a revert to the slide. Titans had one mobile class, one! The slide felt amazing on behemoth and now its trash.

I hope they bring in more abilities after all subclasses are 3.0. Mainly melee abilities, and more aspects.

10 commentairesStasis is incredible in pve on every class. Definitely my favorite subclass in the game. But the accumulation of nerfs to balance Stasis fragments and aspects have crushed it in the crucible, especially Behemoth. Freeze is definitely too short and Slow doesn't do enough compared to say Smoke bomb. There is nothing in the Stasis tool belt other than the Revenant and Shadebinder Supers that makes it competitive right now with Light subclasses for the majority of players. There just isn't any consistency to playing the subclass across playlists and I hate that about the way Bungie is balancing the game right now.

4 commentairesAs a stasis main I gotta hard disagree. Behemoth is ferocious. Shadebinder is ferocious. Revenant is the only one I'd even consider and even then it has a lightning fast super charge that can team wipe in a trials/comp match.

If you think it doesn’t compete, you haven’t done 2 things, built into it properly or playing anything harder than a patrol. Stasis is still insane, supers are kinda meh but the neutral game is overpowered as -blam!-, especially with some of the exotics for it. The issue is really that the harder the content gets, the better stasis becomes, and destiny doesn’t have alot of hard content anymore

If you knew how to build into it and how powerful the PVE Stasis Warlock was, you wouldn't make this thread. Also hard NO on buffing Stasis in PVP. I don't even like to PVP but being frozen and killed makes me like it even less.

1 commentaireI have been Titan top tree arc forever… through every busted subclass and there’s been quite a few the last few years, I have remained true to my subclass.. I have suffered badly and been called all sorts through chat because am still pretty good with all the helping healthy cheese about and peregrines helps me with that. What am trying to say is that stasis was the hardest subclass to fight against and if you disagree you’re wrong.. End of communication 👍 also does nobody play this game under the influence 🤔 it’s like everyone gotta be top of their game constantly.. 🍺 💨 😱🤣
