Imo, if it wasnt an iron banner mode, but one of the rotating ones, i think people would hate it far less.
Iron banner kinda brings the worst in people.

This. Rift was not designed to be a competitive mode. Most of the complaints were changes made to make the mode more balanced. Supremacy, King of the Hill, Payload Protection and/or Push, Zone Control, etc… all likely would’ve been better.
