Stasis has been a new and interesting inclusion in Destiny 2. From its oppressive beginnings to a balanced state, for the most part. However, there is one class that has been feeling left out. Since the super was revealed there was always the thought of, “it looks just like a Striker Titan but ice” as a Titan main this slightly had me worried. But upon arrival it felt amazing to use but terrible against, brushing off the ice Striker Titan feeling. Bungie rightfully nerfed Stasis to a balanced state with previous nerfs and the most recent variable cooldowns. Now, the subclass is a husk of its former glory and a worse version of Striker Titan in both PvP and PvE. One of the reasons Behemoth isn’t all that interesting is that it has a conflicting identity. Bunige stated that the mindset for Stasis was to give players a way to hinder the mobility of the game. Both the Hunter and Warlock do this fantastically with their Aspects and such. Titan however is mobility based with Shiver Strike and mainly Cryoclasm being the only things carrying the subclass. Clashing with that defensive vision Bungie had when designing Stasis. Additionally, the subclass is one dimensional having Titans to entirely rely on Stasis Crystals to make any Aspect potent limiting build crafting. Proof of this is the 3 Stasis Exotic weapons where only 1 is able to be made impactful for a build but unfortunately, for Titans, it's a lackluster grenade launcher that has abysmal damage compared even to the likes of The Queenbreaker. And with all Stasis Crystals being nerfed and Glacial Grenade having the longest cooldown it makes Behemoth feel worthless to play. Why be Behemoth when I can use Code of the Siegebreaker or Code of the Commander for better add control and a superior super in end-game content? Not to mention the super feels way too clunky compared to any other super. As of now Behemoth needs a rework, from the ground up to be in line with Bungie’s vision for Stasis. Make it an absolute tank, and no Whisper of Chains does not count as it's not unique to Titan nor viable/practical in a large majority of situations. I’d love to see Behemoth be a unique subclass rather than a worse ice Striker Titan. I digress. Hopefully, Bungie feels the same way to address this.

None of them actually specialize very well in what they were advertised to do. I mean it’s reaallly weird that the Hunter has crystals added to all grenades on an aspect when Titans are supposed to be the Crystal specialists right? I feel like the Stasis system was a sort of beta test for what Light 3.0 is going to be. So far it seems like the Void reworks are a MUCH more streamlined and effective version of the Stasis subclass and element design. I’m personally hoping that when Bungie is done with all three Light subclass reworks, they’ll revisit Stasis and do something different and better with it. EDIT: Fixed an error :)

Shiver strike is easy to dodge, even easier for hunter.

4 commentairesModifié par Killmonger : 12/11/2021 10:18:35 PMThe behemoth Titan is garbage in pvp and they had the audacity to make it a tier 1 super for what? It’s like they destroyed it on purpose and refuse to fix it. Every other stasis super outclasses it by a mile and don’t dare pop that super in pvp, because nobody will be concerned they will just team shoot you. Even if they are by themselves with no super they’ll challenge the behemoth because they know it’s bad. There’s no clear vision for Titan in Destiny. It’s the same old slam punch routine with no ingenuity. The only thing that stepped outside the box was code of the commander with the void detonators and sunspots. The thing that really pisses me off is that they know it’s lackluster and needs adjusting but they just ignore it. This huge sandbox update and no real fix or relevant change for behemoth.

The biggest issue with Behemoth, and the reason I changed to Warlock, is, as you said, it relies only on Stasis Crystals for build-making. The Howl of the Storm melee ability should be an option in the menu, in my opinion, not a costly aspect. The class NEEDS more way to make stasis crystals. Maybe Diamond lance could spawn crystals on impact. Howl of the Storm should come built in and be replaced with something better. Cryoslide is fine. I also think Salvations Grip should be redone as a secondary Grenade Launcher where it doesn’t steal the space for a good heavy. I would actually use that.

I think almost everyone can agree it needs a rework(ty for wall of text warning)

5 commentairesTo think I main behemoth and never used cryoclasm, such a boring aspect, and the cherry on top, its only 1 fragment slot.

5 commentairesMeh… 🤷🏼♂️ When Void 3.0 comes out I’m going to touch Stasis even less than I do now… which I don’t 😆

Agreed. Super feels lackluster, neutral game is fun until you run into the timers and restrictions, and it’s in the highest super recharge tier. By far the worst of the stasis subclasses

4 commentairesHow about you get gud lol stasis is amazing for titan on pve pvp it is for sure bad tho you just aren’t using the right builds Cyroclasm was never good anyways unless you playing pvp with glacial lance new buff you can get a couple ad kills with Agers drop a lance then wipe a group of ads throw a bow buffed glacial grenade wipe more ads and with 5 fragment slots you can run hella health/resist fragments with faster grenade regen slap on newly buffed heart of inmost light and you just shitting grenades out and that’s minus mods lol
