Kind of a d**k move Bungie.....
Im going along, completing the quests for the Agers Scepter, got all the way to step 8, completed the first two strikes, and then got slapped with the pay wall..... i need to purchase the Beyond Light expansion. Why, like the rest of the exotic quests, isnt this a locked quest? I wasted a good chunk of time to be told i need to pay $49.99 (plus tax) to finish this weapons quest. This reoccurring trend needs to stop.....

42 commentairesPretty sure you need Beyond Light to select the strike from the destination. You might be able to get around that by loading into the strike playlist until you load into the Glassway strike.

5 commentairesDude that's NOT a paywall. That is a specific piece of loot which requires a seasons purchase. How would Bungie ever make any money if the entire game was free? Those are loot for PAYING customers. I have purchased every single season of D2.

I for one don't understand how people play this game without picking up all the content. Say what you want about the quality, greed, etc etc but I wouldn't touch this game if I was missing content. I'd be missing out on way too much.

You dont have to just run the strike playlist until you get into glassway.

While I agree to a certain extent with the OP, I don't have much sympathy for anyone who hasn't paid in to all seasons, dlcs, whatever. I have bought everything since D1 day 1, and, maybe I sound a little selfish, but why should ftp players get everything that the majority of players have to pay for?

That should never have happened, if Beyond Light is needed and someone doesn't have Beyond Light, the quest shouldn't be available to them to begin with. My god there are some thick headed individuals out there.

Man am I glad you posted this so I didn't waste my time. Nowhere anywhere does Bungie explain that coughing up the season pass cash isn't enough to get all the season pass gear. It's a very scummy business practice.
