There’s nothing left to grind, im a fan of auto rifles atm there is nearly 40 something autos that have been sunsetted 40!. I used to love jumping on and grinding for a certain weapon but there’s just nothing left anymore I’m so bored

Grind more glimmer & buy more bounties. No reward you say? You can be the highest level guy in the tower and dance around with emotes that you bought with silver. See, there’s still stuff to do.

1 commentaireFfs do something fun then. If it has to be D2, make shit up. Go thru strikes without firing a shot. Only abilities. Figure out armor shader combos to camouflage yourself for each crucible map Load into a solo nf and try to kill literally everything, no matter how long it takes Test loadouts/perk-pool/mod combos and the best ones for any given situation Learn how to sword/sparrow fly on your Titan Etc

Jump off the hamster wheel, it's a great feeling
-
Solo flawless the dungeons. Parts of them are a lot more manageable with certain builds so you might need to grind out more gear in the process to 👍

Shoot stuff with your gun in the face

Seals.... exotic catalysts...or broaden your horizons and play other stuff. You're literally allowed to, there's no rules

Travel to Elsie and turn up brightness

Play another game then - when things are dull in Destiny, it’s the perfect time to jump into something else for a while.

Grind bounties

Dungeons, Raids and GM's are how I usually spend the second half of each season. If those are not for your maybe grind out a few titles. Doesn't hurt to flat take a break at the tail end of the season to avoid burnout. Also there's still a few weeks to finish up the Solstice armor sets if you haven't done that yet.

Report people. It’s currently the most popular activity

2 commentairesThat sounds like you finished pve, why don’t you try pvp? Thats where the real end game content begins especially as you hit trials. Trials is tough not because of matchmaking or because you cant outplay other players, it becomes GM levels of tough when you gotta face a player that flies around the map with infinite rocket ammo, teleportation, instant transmissions and infinite supers. Those guys are the real end game

Take a break and come back. It helps a lot

11 commentairesModifié par Seraphim Crypto : 7/18/2021 3:53:25 PMIf you want to do something in the game, how about hunting Triumphs and Seals? You're sitting at 12,483 active Triumph Score, in comparison I'm sitting at over 18,136. You only have a single Seal. Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with taking a break and playing some other games.

Play a different game

Id say put it down and try other games.

Silently spam the ramen emote next to caydes memorial and wait for lost hunters to rally with me on their leaders grave!

6 commentairesI've said this before. In my opinion this is the fundamental problem with NOT having an entirely new game after three years. Destiny 1 lasted about 3 years. In the beginning of the third year people were bored. Destiny podcasters and Streamers routinely said, "Well its ok to play other games." They were waiting for something new. Well D2 is now more than three years old. And it's the same game. I'm focused more on crucible but it's over three years of the same maps, mostly same armor, same weapons, same activities. Not to mention a lot of what they add are d1 things people have long ago done. D1 weapons. D1 raids. D1 strikes. 3 years on when people are tired of the old and need new content. When Crucible players are needed what a brand new game gives: ten new original maps. When pve players are looking for what a new game brings. New planets, new locations, new enemies, new subclasses (noting that we did get stasis. (yuck) ), etc, we have the same. And worse withing the same they've nerfed or sunset all the weapons that were worth playing for or using. To me the game is stale and boring in part because it's mostly more of the same an d it's long over due for an entirely new experience. It's not Warcraft. It's a shooter. It's gotta change at some point. I think the change is too slow. That's likely the product of, obviously a pandemic, but also leaving Activision thus not having the deeper funding pockets, the extra studios. Not to mention a fundamental problem when they were with Activision is they couldn't make content fast enough. Activision wanted what 3 expansions a year with raids. They wanted like a Taken King every year. And a lot of that Taken King stuff was started well before the original Destiny 1 was released. Just my two cents but Destiny 2 is too old. 3 Years on people are used to an entirely new Destiny game. And they aren't going to get it.

1 commentaireWell sorry to say it's not going to get any better. I'm bored as well. Maybe take a break until WQ drops and cross your fingers and toes there may be something to do then. You sound like me, stuck in groundhog day on the road to nowhere. Burnt out!

Time for a proper break or eventually you will start to hate the game you loved, you’re not going to miss anything of significance until the witch queen.
