Like it says, remove the charge time masterwork from fusion rifles or remove the impact penalty associated with it.
A masterwork is there to improve the weapon, not create a trade off or compromise.
Nothing ruins your god rolled Plug One or Trinary System quite like a charge time MW.

People asked for this a bunch like three years ago and bungie just ignored it. Doesn’t make sense to have a masterwork that makes the gun worse. Especially when a battery exists that does the exact same thing but better.
-
2 commentairesMan, I keep seeing the same suggestions for years without any of them being addressed. Meanwhile, despite being a new game, genshin impact just announced they would make it easier to obtain certain 5 star (highest rarity) weapons, listening to their community, on top of buffing a character a while ago after players felt it was too weak. What a Difference.

Yeah, they can even lower the effect a little if they’re that worried about it. The one thing I do find interesting, but I’ve never seen anyone do any extensive tests or use it, is potentially partially masterworking a fusion with a charge time MW so it has the fastest charge with no penalty to the amount of bolts it takes to kill. You can fine tune the charge time/impact pretty well with a charge time masterwork and I’ve always thought it to be sort of fascinating that no one has really tried it out (at least from what I’ve seen). Wouldn’t mind removing the penalty though, even if that means reducing the effectiveness of the masterwork a little.

Its not even a trade off/compromise, it actually makes the gun worse. Pretty sure the point of masterworking is to make something slightly better, not gimp it.
-
7 commentairesMaybe they'll get around to that after they remove Hip-Fire grip from snipers
-
I want them.to just get rid of it. No point in keeping a bonus nobody is EVER gonna use over range or stability.
-
I know how they could fix anything with fusion in the name. Block it from pvp so they never have to nerf them making it so the players can use them in pve like the gun it’s supposed to be
-
8 commentairesNo, because charge time is how you balance the weapon for PVP. The harder it hits, the longer it takes to charge.
-
That would be nice, but not necessary. Adaptive and rapid-fire frames won't benefit either way, 6 of 7 bolts must hit the target regardless. If you want power go to a precision or high impact with all the damage perks, while slower they require less bolts to hit. Precision are a 5 bolt kill, so damage perks are a must. High impact don't need them so focus on range/stability/handling.
-
If a Fusion has Charge MW, it’s automatically deleted, no matter what else it has. I’ve lost would be god rolls that way.
-
Agreed it just adds more uslesss rolled options to the weapon.
-
It doesn't matter as much for pve but its a huge detriment for pvp. I remember I used to have a great wizened rebuke that I kept at masterwork level 1 to avoid the impact penalty.

17 commentairesModifié par Double07 : 7/10/2021 7:37:02 PMIt’s there so you don’t create a max impact fusion that has equal or better charge time stat than a rapid fire fusion rifles
-
23 commentairesYou shouldn’t have a one tap to begin with especially if your using it for pvp. So no it will never happen. If it was strictly for pve gameplay then it would be a maybe but at that point it’s probably already a mostly one tap anyways. But no that trade off is there for a reason. An guess what it’s because of pvp is there reason it’s there probably. So thank pvp for being the reason if it is the reason.

2 commentairesHow bout we revert them back to projectiles instead of hit scan
-
It is pretty absurd that Fusions (Linear Fusions too) get punished for having a particular Masterwork. If only Shotguns did less damage with Range MWs, or Snipers had less Aim Assist with Handling MWs.
-
Definitely, nothing sucks more than a “god roll” adept plug one with charge time mw.
-
2 commentairesWhat about charge time MW on a high-imact fusion with liquid coils? I don't have such a roll to test, but it might not be terrible
-
3 commentairesWait, a charge time masterwork reduces impact? Man of all the half-a**ed bs…..
-
6 commentairesActually if you test it, having a faster charge time increase dps for fusions and linears. If your going for a max dps roll you'll want accelerater coils + charge time masterwork. The buff to rof out weighs the loss to damage. Now if your going burst damage, then ya it sucks. The only exception to this is coriolis effect from beyond light. For this fusion you want liquid coils and range. This is actually the best legendary dps fusion and is just barely under merciless. Coriolis dps= 30k with liquid and merciless = 31k.
-
It should be removed. If they don’t want us using high impact fusions with a naturally faster charge time then they should remove it.
-
13 commentairesWait so you don’t want charge time masterworks on fusion? Can someone explain? I thought this was a good thing to have less charge time

1 commentaireModifié par JazzyPaladin477 : 7/10/2021 5:03:22 PMOr bump up the charge time bonus you get to balance the impact loss. Totally not worth it right now, reduced charge time is not even noticeable, but the impact sure is.
