I don't even use 120s that much, and that's why I love it. It's awesome that the meta weapon has one of the worst time to kill in the game (excluding damage perks). It gives me the ability to use way more guns knowing that all of them have a fighting chance. It was impossible to say the same about the 600 rpm auto meta. And even if people say the opposite, it is really easy to counter 120s. Use a 150 Scout like the Jade Rabbit and you'll see how easy it is. As good as 120s may be, the are not forgiving at all, so if the opponent misses a shot, you got them. I've been in such a roll with the Deep Stone Crypt scout rifle, no damage perk or anything. The slow firing pulses are also great, you can 2 burst with no damage perk. I just think there are way better guns that 120s, and I think that once they get nerfed, the next meta will probably be awful. But at the end, honestly, I prefer being 2 tapped by a 120 knowing the guy landed those 2 shots, than getting kill by an auto knowing they don't need any skill. Hand Cannons are probably the hardest weapon to use outside of snipers, so I'm happy that people at least have to aim to kill me in this meta.

3 commentairesI’m ok with 120 getting nerfed, but don’t made them useless like 600rpm AR’s; just nerf them enough to make other guns shine and that’s it, no need to murder them
-
6 commentairesALL hcs are super easy to use, infinite AA, the 600 meta never existed. Itd always beem hc meta as peekshooting with a hc is always the most effective.
-
Then they have to improve every other gun. It’s stupid as hell

Modifié par Sun : 4/1/2021 7:49:54 PMNah I'm gonna have to disagree as an avid 120 user rn. They are the best peek shooting weapon, have insane range along with that, and has the magnetism and aim assist that rivals, if not surpasses spare rations and dire promise back then. They are way too easy to use rn. A gun with that much range shouldn't have the best burst damage. On top of that, damage perks are really easy to proc with them. They are already easy to use so getting rampage and going on a spree does not take much at all. I don't think they should nerf the range but if anything they have to nerf the aim assist and bullet magnetism. A forgiving weapon like a 120 shouldn't have the magnetism it has rn.

10 commentairesModifié par blade329 : 3/30/2021 8:55:55 PMI think 120's are fine the way they are. They are difficult to use, even with the right perks. If people are beating you with 120's, they will still beat you even if you nerf them. You know how the PvP snowflakes are. These wimps want everything nerfed because they just can't handle anything good in this game.
-
1 commentaireNah. A small range nerf is fair. Right now 120's are better at serving a scout rifle role than the actual legendary scout rifles. That's just bad design.

4 commentairesThere is less variety now than before because of how good 120s are. In the dire promise/spare rations meta, you could get away with using different guns if you were good. I could use lumina, I liked gahlrans right hand, 140 hcs had their place in the meta because they generally had better range and accuracy than 150s even though they had slower TTK, pulse rifles such as bygones and blast furnace were extremely good, and 600 rpm autos were just as good as hand cannons. Now I feel like I am handicapping myself and trying to lose if I dont use a 120. I still use 140s because I have 70k kills with 140s/150s and I can get away with it, but it is clear that 120s are better than even 140s and the gap between 120s and every other primary is gigantic. They match the effective ranges of autos, scouts, and pulses but with greater ease of use as well as the ability to peek shoot and shoot in the air. In the 150 meta if I really couldnt out primary someone with my hand cannon I could put on a bygones, stay on the ground at a decent range and have a slower killing but somewhat easier to use gun. But if I used a bygones now I would get deleted... it kills in 3 bursts while 120s kill in 3 shots, and they can abuse peekers advantage and in air accuracy on hand cannons to make this very easy. I tried to use shadow price when I first got it and it was okay but every time I fought a 120 I lost... I kill slower by hitting every single headshot than they do from hitting 2 headshots and a bodyshot and they can do it from a further range than I can. 120s are significantly better than every other option in the game, you can get away with 140s but the gap between 120s and every other primary is huge. They have too much range and are too easy to use, it is undeniably a problem.

7 commentairesWhy does there have to be a “meta”? Can they not just balance the game?
-
1 commentaireYou say that but I can guarantee that if you and I were to fight someone that actually knew what to do with a 120 you wouldn't say these things.... You can literally get a headshot on a guardian and 20m by shooting them in the chest because the bullet magnetism is so high. Don't believe me? Try it. Better yet I will send you a video of me doing to one of my friends. The damage combined with High Caliber makes you look to the sky, the aim assist is cracked, they have the range of a scout, and draw speed that is leagues above what the actual handling would suggest. You can literally run a bow shoot one arrow and hot swap for instant kills. They are honestly SSS tier right now. Even in Trials or just regular comp they are everywhere because they hit hard at range and even with a slow fire rate are super forgiving because you don't have have to be on target to hit.
-
2 commentairesEh, damage perks need to be removed. Charged with light and high energy fire builds already exist outside of them. The range on them is a bit much, but doesn’t need to be touched too heavily.
-
4 commentaires180s are more fun anyways
-
4 commentairesWorst time to kill? What? 3 tapping in PvP is far from bad especially when you only need 2 head and 1 body and can 2 tap with rampage at pulse rifle range. 120's are far more forgiving and longer ranged than almost anything else. But sure, they're bad.
-
2 commentairesYeah did you look at the 3 tap TTK? You do know that you can make them 2 tap ridiculously consistently currently from a range where their innate high-caliber will screw up that Scout.
-
2 commentaires120's have still too much range. Need to cut back the hc range so the range is behind scouts. That will help balance the "meta".
-
2 commentaires120s get nerfed 140s make a comeback Specifically palindrome. Had enough palindrome meta back in d1
-
3 commentairesThe power of the 120 isn’t their initial ttk. It’s their ability to 2 tap once you get a kill with any kind of dmg perk and the ability to get the easiest clean up kills compared to any other gun. They are incredibly easy to use. Like you I don’t use them much cuz I just think hand cannons are dumb and I don’t like them in this game but even I can put one on and run around destroying guys by using them like I would a scout or pulse. It’s so incredibly easy to get easy one tap clean up kills from 40-100 feet away then just go on a killing spree by 2 tapping everyone left and right cuz the damn things aim themselves. Also I love guys who say autos don’t need skill. Lol! You need to land like 6-9 headshots instead of just 2-3 and they flinch and jump around 10 times worse than a handcannon. If you don’t land almost all headshots with an auto you die even faster than if you don’t land you headshots with a 120. But ya they don’t require skill. Gtfo of here with that bull.
-
They need a range nerf.
-
1 commentaireThe community will mess up 120s with their complaints, and bungie will nerf them, and they will go back to be under used pvp. In pve, no one complains lol.
-
I don’t think simple TTK is what makes 120s powerful (without damage buff). Rather, it is the ease of use. The range on a 120 hand cannon is almost unparalleled, and unlike a scout rifle they easy to use close range. Additionally, depending on resilience, to achieve optimum TTK you only need to land one head shot, the other two shots can hit the body. One headshot, 2x bodies, across the map - to achieve a TTK that is similar to the average TTK (NOT optimal) for most weapons.
-
Just because something has a slower time to kill doesn’t mean it’s not broken. You can shoot someone square in the chest with a 120 and it registers as a headshot. On top of that, they compete with pulse rifles and scout rifles in terms of range. It’s more about ease of use. Any average player can pick up a 120 and destroy with them
-
10 commentairesThe problem with 120s for me is the people playing Doom Eternal that quick swap between la monarqe and steady hand like this is the ballista and precision shot machine gun combo.
-
1 commentaireI dont want a damage nerf on them. Only HCs that can 1 tap red bars.
-
3 commentairesModifié par WormChi : 3/30/2021 5:28:34 PMTheir ease of use is to low. It’s made it so everyone just hangs back and team shots if they’re a coordinated team. I would much rather drop their range, drop their damage and buff 140s damage to bring them closer. They are after all only 20 rpm apart.
-
All they need is a hit to range
-
4 commentairesWell 120s or formally 110s have been trash since the beginning of time up until the Duke but you needed the perfect role so this is the first time they’ve been good and I’m glad they are good but I think they should have a 15-20% range nerf just so ppl aren’t so angry about them.
-
2 commentairesUse an assault rifle. It’s been making a come back. More and more I see assault rifles in crucible, and guess what? A non stasis titan with Suros Regime was out performing all the hand cannon stasis users.
