I don’t think there really is a hard answer. It’s flexible. A cinema critic may watch more anime than an anime fan, because the fan locks on to specific genre within anime, while the critic watches it all. Which is the bigger weeb?

2 commentairesModifié par Darkzide : 10/31/2020 5:54:46 PMTheres a huge difference between weeb and otaku: Weebs - Only interested in Japan because they saw anime, own a shit ton of merch, have alot of waifu body pillows, and say stuff like "I prefer 2D girls over 3D". Otaku - People who are genuinely interested in Japanese culture and want to learn more about it. Yes, they have anime merch and like anime in general but arent cringey about it. So to answer your question, The number of animes watched doesnt matter, its how far you dive into the fandom

Does dressing up as Kayako Saeki for Halloween make me a weeb?
-
If Otaku is in your gamertag, psn id etc. you're probably a weeb

4 commentairesIt's not the number... It's the dedication
-
5 commentaires... It's not the numbers but rather the kind, for example Pocket Monsters and Dragon Ball don't count because they're massively popular, and Gundam, or whatever it's called, and at this point Naruto could prolly go up there too...
not included in the DLC
-
I don't even know what a weeb is.
-
If you have to ask, you’re probably a weeb.
-
None. You're a weeb if you identify as one, plain and simple.
-
Do you own any anime figures/collectables? Cosplay material? A waifu pillow?

1 commentaire“Yes” received 44% of the vote. Oops. Guess I’m a weeb.
-
What counts as anime? Is anime specifically where they have to take a few minutes to describe what they are doing or no?
-
2 commentairesAccording to the polls kids who watch Pokémon are weebs
-
just watching anime doesn't make you a weeb, you have to embrace it as a lifestyle, buy an aheago clothing item, spread anime memes, use an anime profile picture, stuff your mind so far down the gutter that handholding becomes lewd.... ect ect
-
1 commentaireThe amount of anime watched doesn't make a weeb. It's how far your affinity to Japanese culture in general goes. Anime alone usually isn't enough for someone to actually become a weeb; if it does then that person probably already had some issues in the first place.

27 commentairesModifié par LZ2001 : 10/30/2020 12:57:43 AMI'm in the process of watching my 8th. And I am certainly not a weeb. So I think Bacon got it right, the number doesn't matter. Edit: 9th actually. I forgot about Inuyashiki: Last Hero

I don't know
-
Modifié par kerrick2 : 10/30/2020 12:43:31 AMI’ve lost count of how many anime over the past couple of decades i’ve watched I haven’t crossed that threshold yet

4 commentairesA weeb is someone who thinks Japanese culture is superior to Western culture. A weebo is a degenerate who abandons Western culture entirely and lives as if they were in an anime. Honestly the two cultures are completely non-sympatico for a myriad of communicative reasons, but the point stands. Weebs are morons. Whether or not you like anime is an entirely different matter...all drawn cartoons qualify as anime, what we consider ‘anime’ just happens to be those originating from Japan.
Sorry, all out of salt.
