Wtf is this?
What's the deal with the messed up matchmaking in survival? I'm not any good and being teamed against pros/sweats who are always constantly on the same team (in freelance) while I always get the lesser players on my team, even game after game, how is it skill based when I'm always up against players 10x better than me , the point system aswell is stupid

You're glory 3900 or so. That's when you play sweaty players. Expect that for the rest of the climb to 5500. You can't expect it to be an easy road the whole way up.

You are matched on your glory score alone, and two people with the same glory score can be of vastly different skill level. You reset your glory score at the beginning of the season so you could match with unbrokens at 40 glory in their first game. Throw flat out broken team balancing on top of that and you have the mess you see before you.

I was playing with some clan mates last night to get Umbral traces and game after game was just sweats. 3 games in a row we played teams that had at least one flawless geared player. The skill based matchmaking is almost non existent. I’m not a great player but it’d be nice to get a kill every now and again.

3 commentairesThere is no real reason to be playing survival anymore unless you're in the dwindling number of players that don't already have NF or Unbroken but are still actively trying. (By which I mean, most people either have already done it or aren't trying.) And... the season has already run out of steam. So more and more of the people that you encounter will be hardcore people who play crucible nonstop because that is their hobby.

Because... It’s Bungie. There is nothing competitive about “competitive” in this game. It’s luck based and Bungie refuses to put the resources into making it what it should be.

Dude you’re not the only one It happens to me every single game like if there’s a team of sweats they are always on the opposing team while I get the new light timmys and when there’s a team of timmys they are on my team sooo dumb. After a 7 loss streak I get put on a forced win game so stupid this game

I feel your pain...a week ago I played 25 matches of survival to get my broadsword...most of the time the other team had 2 people with 5000 glory while the team I’m with had 2000..I’ll never touch those modes again.

7 commentairesIt more than likely has to do with the very small population of the playlist. When there is only a very small pool to draw from, they are forced to fill the slot, or wait times would take forever.

1.) Bungies matchmaking his shit they say skillbased but they match your team with lesser skilled players to you maybe being decent against the higher stat players as a way of "balance" 2.) Small population of the playlist I mean what's the real point anymore to go legend? For not forgotten that'll be sunsetted in November? A title/badge that says unbroken that is otherwise worthless outside of bragging rights? 3.) This is bungie

It's called Bungie's matchmaking is shiite no matter if it's SBMM or CBMM. It should be called RBMM for Random, cause you never know what you're going to get.

1 commentaireYep back when I was getting the glory required for the Komodo-4FR I hopped into some freelance survival. I never play comp and had 0 glory, but would match against 4500-5500 glory players with the other team always seemingly with the better players. That was season of the Dawn though.
